Psalm 48 AKJV — Psalm 48

1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. AKJV — Psalm 48:1

2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. AKJV — Psalm 48:2

3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge. AKJV — Psalm 48:3

4 For, see, the kings were assembled, they passed by together. AKJV — Psalm 48:4

5 They saw it, and so they marveled; they were troubled, and hurried away. AKJV — Psalm 48:5

6 Fear took hold on them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail. AKJV — Psalm 48:6

7 You break the ships of Tarshish with an east wind. AKJV — Psalm 48:7

8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah. AKJV — Psalm 48:8

9 We have thought of your loving kindness, O God, in the middle of your temple. AKJV — Psalm 48:9

10 According to your name, O God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth: your right hand is full of righteousness. AKJV — Psalm 48:10

11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your judgments. AKJV — Psalm 48:11

12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. AKJV — Psalm 48:12

13 Mark you well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following. AKJV — Psalm 48:13

14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even to death. AKJV — Psalm 48:14
