Psalm 85 AKJV — Psalm 85

1 Lord, you have been favorable to your land: you have brought back the captivity of Jacob. AKJV — Psalm 85:1

2 You have forgiven the iniquity of your people, you have covered all their sin. Selah. AKJV — Psalm 85:2

3 You have taken away all your wrath: you have turned yourself from the fierceness of your anger. AKJV — Psalm 85:3

4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause your anger toward us to cease. AKJV — Psalm 85:4

5 Will you be angry with us for ever? will you draw out your anger to all generations? AKJV — Psalm 85:5

6 Will you not revive us again: that your people may rejoice in you? AKJV — Psalm 85:6

7 Show us your mercy, O LORD, and grant us your salvation. AKJV — Psalm 85:7

8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. AKJV — Psalm 85:8

9 Surely his salvation is near them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. AKJV — Psalm 85:9

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. AKJV — Psalm 85:10

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. AKJV — Psalm 85:11

12 Yes, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. AKJV — Psalm 85:12

13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps. AKJV — Psalm 85:13
