Psalm 107 AKJV — Psalm 107

1 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever. AKJV — Psalm 107:1

2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy; AKJV — Psalm 107:2

3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. AKJV — Psalm 107:3

4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. AKJV — Psalm 107:4

5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. AKJV — Psalm 107:5

6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. AKJV — Psalm 107:6

7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. AKJV — Psalm 107:7

8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! AKJV — Psalm 107:8

9 For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. AKJV — Psalm 107:9

10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; AKJV — Psalm 107:10

11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: AKJV — Psalm 107:11

12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and there was none to help. AKJV — Psalm 107:12

13 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. AKJV — Psalm 107:13

14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder. AKJV — Psalm 107:14

15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! AKJV — Psalm 107:15

16 For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. AKJV — Psalm 107:16

17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. AKJV — Psalm 107:17

18 Their soul abhors all manner of meat; and they draw near to the gates of death. AKJV — Psalm 107:18

19 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses. AKJV — Psalm 107:19

20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. AKJV — Psalm 107:20

21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! AKJV — Psalm 107:21

22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. AKJV — Psalm 107:22

23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; AKJV — Psalm 107:23

24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep. AKJV — Psalm 107:24

25 For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves thereof. AKJV — Psalm 107:25

26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. AKJV — Psalm 107:26

27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’ end. AKJV — Psalm 107:27

28 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses. AKJV — Psalm 107:28

29 He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. AKJV — Psalm 107:29

30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he brings them to their desired haven. AKJV — Psalm 107:30

31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! AKJV — Psalm 107:31

32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. AKJV — Psalm 107:32

33 He turns rivers into a wilderness, and the springs into dry ground; AKJV — Psalm 107:33

34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. AKJV — Psalm 107:34

35 He turns the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into springs. AKJV — Psalm 107:35

36 And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation; AKJV — Psalm 107:36

37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase. AKJV — Psalm 107:37

38 He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffers not their cattle to decrease. AKJV — Psalm 107:38

39 Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow. AKJV — Psalm 107:39

40 He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way. AKJV — Psalm 107:40

41 Yet sets he the poor on high from affliction, and makes him families like a flock. AKJV — Psalm 107:41

42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. AKJV — Psalm 107:42

43 Whoever is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD. AKJV — Psalm 107:43
