About the same time William Miller said: “It is most unnatural and unaccountable that the Christian churches should exclude this doctrine and their members for this blessed hope.... What do they exclude for? I heard of some being excluded for ‘hymning’ second advent melodies; others for insanity, when all the insanity proved against them was, that they were watching for Christ.
