Church members and farmers in Wright Township, Michigan. Ira and Hannah Tubbs became Sabbathkeepers in 1857 under the preaching of J. B. Frisbie. Ellen White mentioned Ira Tubbs once in her 1859 diary in connection with a visit to Wright. “We called on Brother Tubbs. Spent a few hours in profitable conversation.” 1EGWLM 900.3
