SUN WONDERS IN CALIFORNIA LDT 99

On March 1, 1908, wonderful sights were seen in connection with the sun, for the most part of the afternoon, in Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino counties. Rainbow rings and rainbow-colored streaks of varying shapes were seen. These seemed to take a new form about every fifteen or twenty minutes. A view taken by an artist, in Napa County, about 4 P. M. of that day, shows the appearance of the sun at that hour. It will be observed that in these sun wonders to which we are calling attention, every one seems to take on a different form. LDT 99.2
