This does not, as some might hastily imagine, mean that one should idly wait to be sent, and should disdain previous study. Moses spent many years learning of God from God’s own revelation of Himself. Knowledge of the truth comes by hard and unceasing study, guided of course by the Spirit Knowledge comes with time; the power of utterance comes with the occasion.
