Every Man a Temple EVCO 359

Remember first that every person is designed to be the temple of God, yes, is God’s temple; but all have gone aside, and have set up idols in the sanctuary, thus defiling it, and denying God’s right to His own dwelling-place. What we wish to consider is what takes place when God dwells in His fulness in His own house, and is allowed complete control. EVCO 359.1

“In His temple everything saith, Glory.” 1Psalm 29:9, B.V. Therefore when Christ dwells in the heart by faith, and the Spirit strengthens the inner man “according to the riches of His glory,” so that the being is “filled with all the fulness of God,” 2Ephesians 3:16-19. He who leads His people like a flock shines forth (Psalm 80:1); and because of the light, which shows itself in good works, men glorify God. 4Isaiah 12:6. “Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.” “Nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for He hath glorified thee.” EVCO 359.2
