Abraham Himself of Gentile Origin EVCO 396

That God made no difference between Jews and Gentiles is seen in the fact that Abraham, the head of the Jewish race, was himself a Gentile, and received the assurance of acceptance with God while he was yet uncircumcised, “that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also.” 1Romans 4:11, 12. God was always as ready to accept people from among the heathen as He was when He called Abraham out from among them. EVCO 396.2
