An Important Distinction EVCO 404

It should be borne in mind that in a true theocracy it is God Himself that rules, and not some person in the place of God. In the days of the first dominion, it was God that ruled through Adam, and not Adam who exercised God’s power. This is a most important distinction. EVCO 404.1

Christ, the second Adam, said, “I can of Mine own self do nothing;” “the Father which dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.” There was a true theocracy. Even so it is with Christ’s true followers; “It is God which worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” EVCO 404.2
