Then came (Mark 7:1) to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, KJRV — Matthew 15:1

Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition (Mark 7:5; Galatians 1:14) of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. KJRV — Matthew 15:2

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? KJRV — Matthew 15:3

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother:Exodus 20:12 and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.Exodus 21:17 Exod 20:12Exodus 20:12 , Exod 21:17Exodus 21:17 , Lev 20:9Leviticus 20:9 , Dt 5:16Deuteronomy 5:16 , 27:16Deuteronomy 27:16, Prov 30:17Proverbs 30:17 KJRV — Matthew 15:4

But (Mark 7:11) ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; KJRV — Matthew 15:5

And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. KJRV — Matthew 15:6

Ye hypocrites, (Mark 7:6) well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, KJRV — Matthew 15:7

This (Isaiah 29:13; Mark 7:6) people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.Isaiah 29:13 KJRV — Matthew 15:8

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.Isaiah 29:13 Isa 29:13Isaiah 29:13, Mark 7:7Mark 7:7 KJRV — Matthew 15:9

And he (Mark 7:14) called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: KJRV — Matthew 15:10

But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted (John 15:2; 1 Corinthians 3:11) up. KJRV — Matthew 15:13

Let them alone: (Hosea 4:17) they be blind leaders (Isaiah 9:16; Malachi 2:8; Matthew 23:16; Luke 6:39) of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. KJRV — Matthew 15:14

Then answered (Mark 7:17) Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. KJRV — Matthew 15:15

And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? (Matthew 16:9; Mark 7:18) KJRV — Matthew 15:16

Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? KJRV — Matthew 15:17

But those things which proceed out of the mouth (James 3:6) come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. KJRV — Matthew 15:18

For out of the heart (Genesis 6:5; Genesis 8:21; Proverbs 6:14; Jeremiah 17:9; Matthew 5:28; Mark 7:21) proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: KJRV — Matthew 15:19

These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. KJRV — Matthew 15:20

Then Jesus went (Mark 7:24) thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. KJRV — Matthew 15:21

But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. KJRV — Matthew 15:23

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep (Isaiah 53:6; Jeremiah 50:6; Jeremiah 50:17; Matthew 10:6; 1 Peter 2:25) of the house of Israel. (Matthew 10:6; Acts 3:26; Acts 13:46; Romans 11:1) KJRV — Matthew 15:24

Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. KJRV — Matthew 15:25

And she (Mark 7:28) said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. KJRV — Matthew 15:27

And Jesus departed (Mark 7:31) from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. KJRV — Matthew 15:29

And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: KJRV — Matthew 15:30

Insomuch that the multitude wondered, (Mark 7:37) when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. KJRV — Matthew 15:31

Then Jesus called (Mark 8:1) his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. KJRV — Matthew 15:32

And his disciples say unto him, Whence (Numbers 11:22; 2 Kings 4:43) should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? KJRV — Matthew 15:33

And Jesus saith (Mark 8:5) unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, (Matthew 16:10) and a few little fishes. KJRV — Matthew 15:34

And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children. KJRV — Matthew 15:38
