Corinthians KJRV — 1Corinthians

Corinthians 1 KJRV — 1Corinthians 1

Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes (Acts 18:17) our brother, KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:1

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified (John 17:19) in Christ Jesus, called (2 Timothy 1:9) to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name (Genesis 4:26; 1 Kings 18:24; Psalms 116:17; Joel 2:32; Zephaniah 3:9; John 1:12; Acts 15:17) of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's: KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:2

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:3

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:4

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, (2 Corinthians 8:7) and in all knowledge; KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:5

Even as the testimony (2 Timothy 1:8; Revelation 1:2) of Christ was confirmed in you: KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:6

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming (Colossians 3:4) of our Lord Jesus Christ: KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:7

Who shall also confirm (2 Thessalonians 3:3) you unto the end, that ye may be blameless (1 Thessalonians 5:23) in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:8

God is faithful, (Isaiah 49:7; Hebrews 10:23) by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son (John 15:4; 1 John 4:13) Jesus Christ our Lord. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:9

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions (1 Corinthians 11:18) among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:10

For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:11

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of (1 Corinthians 3:4) Paul; and I of Apollos (Acts 18:24; 1 Corinthians 3:5; Titus 3:13) ; and I of Cephas; (Matthew 16:18; John 1:42) and I of Christ. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:12

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:13

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus (Acts 18:8) and Gaius; (Romans 16:23) KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:14

Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:15

And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: (1 Corinthians 16:15) besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:16

For Christ sent (Acts 26:17) me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:17

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness (Acts 17:18) ; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (Romans 1:16) KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:18

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.Isaiah 29:14 Isa 29:14Isaiah 29:14 KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:19

Where (Isaiah 33:18) is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish (Isaiah 44:25) the wisdom of this world? KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:20

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom (Luke 10:21) knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:21

For the Jews require a sign, (Matthew 12:38; Matthew 16:1; Mark 8:11; Luke 11:16; John 2:18) and the Greeks seek after wisdom: KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:22

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:23

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power (Romans 1:4) of God, and the wisdom (Colossians 2:3) of God. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:24

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:25

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many (John 7:48) wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:26

But God hath chosen the foolish (Psalms 8:2; Matthew 11:25; 1 Corinthians 2:7; 2 Corinthians 3:14) things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:27

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, (Romans 4:17) to bring to nought things that are: KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:28

That no flesh should glory (Romans 3:27; Ephesians 2:9) in his presence. KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:29

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:30

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.Jeremiah 9:24 Jer 9:24Jeremiah 9:24 KJRV — 1Corinthians 1:31
