CONSTITUTION, ART. 9, SEC. 2 TBUS 30

“This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof,.. shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every State shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws or any State to the contrary notwithstanding.” TBUS 30.2

Sec.3. “The members of the several state Legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States, and of the several States, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support the Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to office or public trust under the United States.” TBUS 30.3
