UWesley wayevakalisa ukuhambelana okugqibeleleyo komthetho negospile. “Kukho, ke ngoko, uqhagamshelano olusondelelene kakhulu olunokubonwa, phakathi komthetho negospile. Kwelinye icala, umthetho usoloko uvula indlela, usikhombe kwigospile; kwelinye, igospile, isoloko isikhokelela ekuwuzalisekiseni ngokuthe gingci umthetho. Umthetho, umzekelo, ufuna ukuba sithande uThixo, sithande ummelwane wethu, sibe nobulali, okanye sibe ngcwele. Kwabo babekhuthaza ukuthi, “ukushumayelwa kwegospile kuphendula zonke iziphelo zomthetho,” uWesley waphendula wathi: “Oku sikukhanyela ngokupheleleyo.
