CHURCH-SCHOOL WORK GCB April 9, 1901, page 167

Several young men and women have taken instruction, during the last two years, in the principles and methods of church-school work, and as a result, several new church schools have been started in the district. The conditions that prevail in the South are favorable, in many respects, to the establishment of church and mission schools. Public schools continue but a few months each year, and these are often supplemented by private, or subscription schools. GCB April 9, 1901, page 167.12
