To make it possible to refer to the many subjects dealt with in the 55,000 pages of manuscripts and the 4,500 Ellen G. White articles which appear in our periodicals, a card index has been prepared. The work on this was begun many years ago, but at first it was rather rudimentary, and not until recent years has it neared completeness. Now, this subject index, recorded on 22,000 cards, is to the manuscripts and periodical articles what the printed “Index” is to the Ellen G. White books. EGWMR 81.12
