Although Isaac was one of the patriarchs, but little is revealed regarding his life. There is enough, however, to show that God communicated with him as He had with his forefathers. “The Lord appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for My servant Abraham’s sake.” Genesis 26:24. Thus Isaac is clearly another in the line of instrumentalities through whom God revealed His will and purpose. AGP 42.3
