Jesus Endorsed the “Scripture of Truth” BSPC 24

Christ our Lord endorsed these Holy Writings. He did this: BSPC 24.4

1. For the Scriptures as a whole BSPC 24

“You do err, not knowing the scriptures.” Matthew 22:29. BSPC 24.5

“The scripture cannot be broken.” John 10:35. BSPC 24.6

“How are the Scriptures to be fulfilled which declare that thus it must be.” Matthew 26:54, Weymouth. BSPC 24.7

2. For the five books of Moses BSPC 24

“Had you believed Moses, you would have believed me: for he wrote of me.” John 5:46. BSPC 24.8

“Have you not read in the book of Moses?” Mark 12:26. BSPC 24.9

“They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.” Luke 16:29. BSPC 24.10

3. For the writings of the prophets BSPC 24

“That the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Matthew 26:56. BSPC 24.11
