There are three separate positions taken in regard to the advent of Christ; 1st, He comes to judge the world; 2nd, He comes as a thief; 3rd, He comes to take His people to heaven. These is truth in each position, for they do not relate to the same event but to three separate events which take place in their order. BHB 21.5
