BRIGHAM, William Henry (c. 1819-1866) and Polly A. (c. 1831-after 1866)

W. H. Brigham, a carpenter from Lorraine, New York, is first mentioned in the Review in 1852. The Brighams are referred to only once in Ellen White's writings. In Lt 16, 1859, she called S. W. Rhodes, a well-known preacher of the early 1850s, to account for the poor counsel he had offered the Brighams, the counsel having exacerbated rather than helped solve their problems.1EGWLM 798.5
