Dear Brethren:

Brother Stephen Belden will be at the Health Home this evening. He is to visit the dentist and have his teeth fixed. He will need good treatment. Do all you possibly can for him. Give him a thorough looking over, and tell me, if you can, how his case stands. How is his heart? How are his lungs? He thinks of going back to Norfolk Island, and the people there are urging him to return. He feels the cold, sharp air here, and it may be best for him to go. He is full of ambition, and thinks he can do much, but he is very feeble, and can do very little. If he exerts himself, he is all out of breath. Give him the very best treatment, and see if he will improve; and charge his expenses to me.14LtMs, Lt 103, 1899, par. 2
