    Matthew 18

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest (Mark 9:34; Luke 9:46; Luke 22:24) in the kingdom of heaven?KJRV — Matthew 18:1

And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,KJRV — Matthew 18:2

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, (Psalms 131:2; Matthew 19:14; Mark 10:14; Luke 18:16; 1 Corinthians 14:20; 1 Peter 2:2) ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.KJRV — Matthew 18:3

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest (Matthew 20:27) in the kingdom of heaven.KJRV — Matthew 18:4

And whoso shall receive (Matthew 10:42; Mark 9:41; Hebrews 6:10) one such little child in my name receiveth me.KJRV — Matthew 18:5

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.KJRV — Matthew 18:6

Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences (Luke 17:1; 1 Corinthians 11:19) come; but woe (Matthew 26:24) to that man by whom the offence cometh!KJRV — Matthew 18:7

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.KJRV — Matthew 18:8

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell (Matthew 5:22; Matthew 5:29; Matthew 5:30; Matthew 10:28; Matthew 23:15; Matthew 23:33; Mark 9:43; Luke 12:5; James 3:6) fire.KJRV — Matthew 18:9

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels (Psalms 34:7; Hebrews 1:14) do always behold (Luke 1:19) the face of my Father which is in heaven.KJRV — Matthew 18:10

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. (Matthew 9:13; Luke 19:10; Romans 5:8; 1 Timothy 1:15; 1 John 3:5)KJRV — Matthew 18:11

How think ye? if a man have an hundred (Luke 15:4) sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?KJRV — Matthew 18:12

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.KJRV — Matthew 18:13

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.KJRV — Matthew 18:14

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell (Leviticus 19:17; Luke 17:3) him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained (James 5:20; 1 Peter 3:1) thy brother.KJRV — Matthew 18:15

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: (1 Timothy 5:20) but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen (Romans 16:17; 1 Corinthians 5:9; 2 John 1:10) man and a publican.KJRV — Matthew 18:17

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind (Matthew 16:19; John 20:23) on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.KJRV — Matthew 18:18

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done (James 5:16; 1 John 3:22) for them of my Father which is in heaven.KJRV — Matthew 18:19

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst (Ezekiel 48:35; Zechariah 2:5; Matthew 28:20) of them.KJRV — Matthew 18:20
