Corinthians 6

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:1

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge (Psalms 49:14; Daniel 7:22; Matthew 19:28; Luke 22:30; Revelation 2:26; Revelation 20:4) the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:2

Know ye not that we shall judge (2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6) angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:3

If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:4

I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge (Genesis 31:37; 1 Samuel 12:3) between his brethren?KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:5

But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:6

Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer (Matthew 5:39; Luke 6:29) yourselves to be defrauded?KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:7

Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. (1 Thessalonians 4:6)KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:8

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit (Isaiah 3:11) the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:9

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:10

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, (Hebrews 10:22) but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:11

All things are lawful (1 Corinthians 10:23) unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:12

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats : but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication (1 Thessalonians 4:3) , but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. (Ephesians 5:23)KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:13

And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up (Romans 6:5) us by his own power.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:14

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:15

What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5; Mark 10:7; Ephesians 5:31) saith he, shall be one flesh.Genesis 2:24KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:16

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one (John 17:21; Ephesians 4:4; Ephesians 5:30) spirit.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:17

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (Romans 1:24; 1 Thessalonians 4:4)KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:18

What? know ye not that your body is the temple (2 Corinthians 6:16) of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:19

For ye are bought (Galatians 3:13; Hebrews 9:12; Revelation 5:9) with a price: therefore glorify (Matthew 5:16) God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.KJRV — 1Corinthians 6:20
