    21. The Integrity of Her Message

    “I speak that which I have seen, and which I know to be true.”—Letter 4, 1896.EGWATHW 10.2

“In all your communications, speak as one to whom the Lord has spoken. He is your authority.”—Letter 186, 1902.EGWATHW 10.3

“Through His Holy Spirit the voice of God has come to us continually in warning and instruction, to confirm the faith of the believers in the Spirit of prophecy. Repeatedly the word has come, Write the things that I have given you to confirm the faith of My people in the position they have taken. Time and trial have not made void the instruction given.... The instruction that was given in the early days of the message is to be held as safe instruction to follow in these its closing days.”—The Review and Herald, July 18, 1907. (In Selected Messages 1:41)EGWATHW 10.4

“God is either teaching His church, reproving their wrongs and strengthening their faith, or He is not. This work is of God, or it is not. God does nothing in partnership with Satan. My work ...bears the stamp of God or the stamp of the enemy. There is no halfway work in the matter. The Testimonies are of the Spirit of God, or of the devil.”—Testimonies for the Church 4:230.EGWATHW 10.5
