Iintliziyo zabo zaya zatsaleleka kuYe ngokupheleleyo; kwaza kwathi njengokuba zitsalelwe kuKristu ngothando olukhulu, nabo batsaleleka omnye komnye. “Inene, inene, ndithi kuni,” uKristu waqhubeka, “Lowo ukholwayo kum, imisebenzi endiyenzayo mna, uya kuyenza naye yena.” UMsindisi wayexhalabe kakhulu kukuba abafundi baKhe babe nokuyiqonda injongo yokuba ubuThixo baKhe bumanywe nobuntu. Isithembiso soMsindisi kubafundi baKhe sisithembiso kwibandla laKhe kuse ekupheleni kwexesha. UThixo akazange amisele ukuba icebo laKhe elimangalisayo lokuhlangula abantu kufuneka liphelele nje kwiziphumo ezingacacanga kakuhle. Bonke abaza kuya kusebenza, bengathembelanga koko bona ngokwabo banokukwenza, kodwa koko uThixo anokukwenzela bona, nanokukwenza ngabo, ngokuqinisekileyo baya kukubona ukuzaliseka kwesithembiso saKhe. “Nemikhulu [imisebenzi] kunale uya kuyenza,” watsho uYesu, “ngokuba mna ndisiya kuye uBawo.” ULw 667.2
Okwangoku, abafundi babe ngekaqhelani nezixhobo namandla oMsindisi angenamda. Wathi kubo, “Kude kwaba ngokunje, anikaceli nto egameni lam.” Yohane 16:24. Wachaza ukuba imfihlo yempumelelo yabo yayiya kuba sekuceleni amandla nobabalo egameni laKhe. Wayeza kubakho phambi kukaBawo ukuba abeke izicelo zabo. Umthandazo wesicelo esithobekileyo usibeka njengomnqweno waKhe endaweni yaloo mphefumlo. Wonke umthandazo onyanisekileyo uyaviwa ezulwini. Usenokungabekwa ngobuciko; kodwa ukuba intliziyo ikuwo, uya kunyukela engcweleni apho uYesu alungiselela khona, aze Yena awubeke kuBawo ungenalo nalinye igama elingacacanga, neligqwidizayo, umhle unevumba elimnandi lesiqholo sokwaKhe ukugqibelela. Indlela yokunyaniseka nesidima asiyondlela imsulwa ngakwizithintelo, kodwa kubo bonke ubunzima kufuneka sibone ubizo lokuthandaza. Akukho namnye ophilileyo onamandla angawafumananga kuThixo, kwaye ithende apho aphuma khona livuleke nakoyena mntu unobuthakathaka. “Nento enithe nayicela egameni lam,” watsho uYesu,” ndoyenza yona, ukuze uYise azukiswe ngoNyana. Ukuba nithe nacela into ngegama lam, ndoyenza mna.” ULw 667.4
“Egameni lam,” uKristu wabakhuthaza abafundi baKhe ukuba bathandaze. Egameni likaKristu, abalandeli baKhe baya kuma phambi kukaThixo. Ngexabiso lombingelelo awabenzela wona, banexabiso emehlweni eNkosi. Ngenxa yobulungisa bukaKristu ababunikiweyo, babalelwa ukuba baxabisekile. Ngenxa kaKristu, uYehova uyabaxolela abo bamoyikayo. Akaboni kubo ububi bomoni. Ubamkela ngokwemfano yoNyana waKhe, Lowo bakholelwayo kuYe. ULw 667.5
INkosi iyadana xa abantu baYo bezibeka kumgangatho ophantsi. Inqwenela ukuba abantu abalilifa laYo elinyuliweyo bazixabise ngokwexabiso athe walibeka phezu kwabo, kungenjalo ngewaye engamthumelanga uNyana waKhe kumsebenzi onexabiso elikhulu kangako wokubahlangula. Unawo umsebenzi wabo, kwaye ukholiseka kakhulu xa besenza awona mabango aphezulu kuYe ukuze balizukise igama laKhe. Banako ukulindela izinto ezinkulu ukuba banokholo kwizithembiso zaKhe. ULw 668.1
Kona ukuthandaza egameni likaKristu kuthetha okukhulu. Kuthetha ukuba kufuneka sisamkele isimilo saKhe, sibonakalalise umoya waKhe, senze imisebenzi yaKhe. Isithembiso seNkosi senziwa phantsi kwemeko ethile. “Ukuba niyandithanda,” uthi, “yigcineni imithetho yam.” Uyabasindisa abantu, abangahlelanga esonweni, kodwa abaphumayo esonweni; kwaye abo bamthandayo baya kulubonisa uthando lwabo ngokuthobela. Konke ukuthobela kwenene kuphuma entliziyweni. Yayingumsebenzi wentliziyo nakuYesu. Ukuba ke siyavuma, uya kuzifanisa neengcinga neenjongo zethu, azilungelelanise iintliziyo zethu neengqondo zethu ukuba zihambelane nentando yaKhe, ukuze kuthi ekumthobeleni singabi senza esikuvayo. Ingqondo, ecolisisiweyo nengcwalisiweyo, iya kuba novuyo olukhulu ekwenzeni umsebenzi waKhe. INkosi iya kusifundisa umsebenzi wethu ngokukhululeke njengoko iya kufundisa nomnye umntu. Ukuba siza kuYo ngokholo, iya kuzixela kuthi ngokwethu iimfihlelo zaYo. Iintliziyo zethu ziya kusoloko zivutha ngaphakathi kwethu njengoko Lowo esondela kufuphi ukuba athethe nathi njengoko wenzayo kuEnoki. Abo bagqiba ukuba bangenzi nanye into engasayi kumkholisa uThixo, baya kwazi, emva kokuba bewubekile umcimbi wabo phambi kwaKhe, ukuba mabathabathe eliphi ikhondo. Konke okwanikelwa kuKristu—“zonke izinto” zokwanelisa izidingo zabantu abawileyo—zanikelwa kuYe njengeNtloko noMmeli woluntu. UMoya Oyingcwele ungummeli kaKristu, kodwa wahluke ngobuqu bobuntu, kwaye ukhululekile kubo. Ngoko ke, kwakungokuze balungelwe ukuze kubekho isidingo sokuba [uKristu] aye kuYise, aze athumele uMoya ukuba abe nguYe oza emva kwaKhe emhlabeni. Emva koko, wayengekho onokuba nethuba elihle ngenxa yendawo [akuyo] okanye ngokuhlangana noKristu. NgoMoya, uMsindisi wayeza kufikelelwa ngabo bonke [abantu] kunaxa enganyukelanga phezulu. ULw 669.3
“Lowo ke undithandayo, uya kuthandwa nguBawo; nam ndiya kumthanda, ndizibonakalalise kuye.” UYesu walifunda ikamva labafundi baKhe. Wambona omnye ekhweliswa emanqwanqweni okubulala, omnye esemnqamlezweni, omnye egxothelwe ukuba abe lilolo kumatye asesiqithini solwandle, abanye batshutshiswe bafe. Wabakhuthaza ngesithembiso sokuba, kuko konke ukulingwa, wayeza kuba nabo. Eso sithembiso asilahlekwanga ngamandla aso. INkosi yazi konke ngabakhonzi bayo abathembekileyo abathi, ngenxa yayo, bangqengqe entolongweni okanye abagxothelwe kwiziqithi babe ngamalolo. Ubathuthuzela ngobukho baKhe. Xa, ngenxa yenyaniso, okholwayo esima ematyaleni kwiinkundla ezikhohlakeleyo, uKristu uma ecaleni kwakhe. Konke ukungcikivwa okuwa phezu kwakhe, kuwa phezu kukaKristu. Iimeko zingasahlula kubo bonke abahlobo basemhlabeni; kodwa ayikho imeko, awukho umgama, onokusahlula kuMthuthuzeli wasezulwini. Naphina apho sikhoyo, nokuba singabheka phina, usoloko ekho ngasekunene kwethu ukuba asixhase, asigcine, asiphakamise, asikhuthaze. ULw 670.1
Abafundi babengekawaqondi amazwi kaKristu ngokwentsingiselo yasemoyeni, waza waphinda wayicacisa into ayithethayo. NgoMoya, wathi, uya kuzibonakalalisa kubo. “Ke uMthetheleli, uMoya Oyingcwele, aya kumthuma uBawo egameni lam, yena uya kunifundisa zonke izinto.” Anisayi kuphinda nithi, Andikwazi kuqiqa. Anisayi kuba sabona ngaphaya kweglasi, ngokumfiliba. Niya kuba “nako kanye ukubuqiqa into obuyiyo ububanzi, nobude, nobunzulu, nokuphakama kwalo, kwanokulwazi uthando lukaKristu oluncamise ukwazi.” Efese 3:18, 19. ULw 670.2

Phofu, ekuthotyelweni phantsi nasekufeni kukaKristu, babeza kuba nokuvavanywa nokudaniswa okukhulu. Ukuze ilizwi labo lichaneke kakuhle emva kwala mava, uYesu wathembisa ukuba uMthuthuzeli uya kuthi “anikhumbuze zonke izinto endizithethe kuni.” ULw 670.3
“Ndisenezinto ezininzi zokuthetha kuni,” waqhubeka, “kodwa aninako ukuzithwala ngoku. Xa ke athe wafika yena uMoya wenyaniso, uya kunikhokelela kuyo yonke inyaniso; kuba engayi kuthetha okuphuma kuye, uya kuthetha izinto athe waziva, anibikele izinto ezizayo. Yena uya kundizukisa; ngokuba eya kwamkela kokukokwam, aze anibikele ke.” UYesu wandlala phambi kwabafundi umtyhutyhumezo wenyaniso. Kwakunzima kakhulu kodwa kubo ukuzigcina izifundo zaKhe zahlukile kwizithethe neentetho zobuciko zababhali nabaFarisi. Babefundiswe ukuba bayamkele imfundiso yabafundisi njengelizwi likaThixo, kwaye oko kwakusenawo amandla ezingqondweni zabo, kuzakhile iimvakalelo zabo. Iingcinga zasemhlabeni, izinto ezidlulayo, zazise nayo indawo enkulu kwiingcinga zabo. Babengayiqondi indalo yasemoyeni yobukumkani bukaKristu, nangona wayesoloko ephindaphinda ukuyichaza kubo. Iingqondo zabo zazididekile. Babengaliqondi ixabiso lemibhalo uKristu awayebanika yona. Ezininzi kwizifundo zaKhe zazikhangeleka zingathi zilahliwe kubo. UYesu wabona ukuba babengayibambanga eyona ntsingiselo yamazwi aKhe. Ngovelwano, wabathembisa ukuba, uMoya Oyingcwele uya kuzibuyisela ezi ntetho ezingqondweni zabo. Ngenxa yoko, wayeka engazithethanga izinto ezininzi ababengayi kuziqonda abafundi.Nazo ezi zaziya kutyhilwa kubo nguMoya.UMoya wayeza kuyivusa ingqiqo yabo, ukuze babe nokuzixabisa izinto zasezulwini. “Xa ke athe wafika yena uMoya wenyaniso,” watsho uYesu, “uya kunikhokelela kuyo yonke inyaniso.” ULw 670.4
UMthuthuzeli ubizwa ngokuthi, “uMoya wenyaniso.” Umsebenzi waKhe kukugcina nokuyixhasa inyaniso. Uqala ahlale entliziyweni enguMoya wenyaniso, aze ngoko abe nguMthuthuzeli. Likhumbuleni ilizwi endalithethayo mna kuni, elithi, Akukho mkhonzi umkhulu kunenkosi yakhe. Ukuba banditshutshisa mna, bonitshutshisa nani; ukuba ilizwi lam baligcina, nelenu boligcina. Ke ezi zinto zonke baya kuzenza kuni ngenxa yegama lam, ngokuba bengamazi owandithumayo.” Ivangeli kufuneka ihambele phambili ngomfutho wemfazwe enkulu, phakathi kwenkcaso, ingozi, ilahleko, nentlungu. NjengoMhlanguli womhlaba, uKristu, wayethe rhoqo ukujongana nokubonakala ngokungathi kukusilela. Yena, engumthunywa wenceba emhlabeni wethu, waba ngathi wenze umsebenzi omncinane kunalowo wayenga angawenza ukuphakamisa nokusindisa. Iimpembelelo ezikhohlakeleyo zazithe rhoqo zisebenzela ukuyichasa indlela yaKhe. Akazange kodwa atyhafiswe. Ngomprofeti uIsaya uthi, “Ndifumane ndazixhamla, ndawaphelisa amandla am ngochuku, nangento engento; noko ibango lam likuYehova, nomvuzo wam unoThixo wam. . . . Nangona uIsrayeli engahlanganiswanga, ndizukile mna emehlweni kaYehova, uThixo wam woba ngamandla am,” (KJV). NguKristu elinikwe kuYe idinga, “Utsho uYehova, uMkhululi kaIsrayeli, Oyingcwele wakhe, komphefumlo udelekileyo, kongamasikizi ezintlangeni; . . . utsho uYehova ukuthi, . . . Ndiya kukubumba, ndikunike ukuba ube ngumnqophiso wabantu, ukuba ulimise ilizwe, ukuba uwabe amafa angamanxuwa; uthi kubabanjwa, Phumani; kwabasebumnyameni, Velani. . . . Abayi kulamba, abayi kunxanwa, abayi kubethwa sisanga nalilanga; ngokuba onemfesane kubo uya kubaqhuba, abathundezele emanzini ampompozayo.” Isa. 49:4, 5, 7-10. ULw 678.3
UYesu wahlala kweli lizwi, akamnika thuba uSathana. Xa kwakuza kuthatyathwa amanyathelo okugqibela okuhliselwa phantsi kukaKristu, xa eyona ntlungu inzulu yayiwuvalela umphefumlo waKhe, wathi kubafundi baKhe, “[Uyeza] umphathi weli hlabathi, engenanto nam.” “Umphathi weli hlabathi [u]gwetyiwe.” “Kungoku aya kukhutshelwa phandle.” Yohane 14:30; 16:11; 12:31. Ngeliso lobuprofeti, uKristu wayilanda imiboniso eza kwenzeka kungquzulwano lwaKhe lokugqibela. Wayesazi ukuba, ngako nje ukuba athi, “Kugqityiwe,” izulu lonke liya koyisa. Indlebe yaKhe yayiva ingoma nemikhwazo yoloyiso isitsho kude kwiinkundla zasezulwini. Wazi ukuba intsimbi yokuphela kobukumkani bukaSathana iya kukhala okokugqibela, lize igama likaKristu livakaliswe kumazwe ngamazwe, kuyo yonke iyunivesi. ULw 679.1
UKristu waba novuyo kuba wakwazi ukubenzela ngaphezulu abalandeli baKhe kunokuba babe nokucela okanye bacinge. Wathetha ngokuqinisekileyo, esazi ukuba umthetho onawo onke amandla wawunikiwe kwangaphambi kokuba kudalwe umhlaba. Wayesazi ukuba inyaniso, exhotyiswe ngamandla onke kaMoya Oyingcwele, yayiza kuboyisa edabini ububi; nokuba ibhanile enamachaphaza egazi yayiza kuphakama ngoloyiso phezu kwabalandeli baKhe. Wayesazi ukuba ubomi babafundi baKhe abathembileyo babuza kufana nobaKhe, ukrozo loloyiso olungaphazanyiswa nto, nolungabonwa njalo apha, kodwa olwaziwa ngolo hlobo kwixesha elizayo. ULw 679.2
“Ezi zinto ndizithethile kuni,” watsho, “ukuze nibe noxolo kum. Ehlabathini niya kuba nembandezelo; yomelelani, mna ndiloyisile ihlabathi.” UKristu akazanga wasilela, engazanga watyhafa, kwaye abalandeli baKhe kufuneka babonakalalise ukholo olunendalo efanayo yokunyamezela. Kufuneka baphile njengoko waphilayo, basebenze njengoko wasebenzayo, uba baxhomekeke kuYe njengoMsebenzi oyiNtloko. Isibindi, amandla, nokuzingisa, zizinto ekufuneka benazo. Nangona kungathi kukho izithintelo eziphazamisa indlela yabo, ngobabalo lwaKhe kufuneka babheke phambili. Endaweni yokuba babe bekhala ngeenzima, kufuneka bazame ukuqabela ngaphaya kwazo. Malingagqitywa nto ithemba labo, koko mabathembe konke. UKristu ubaqamangele etroneni kaThixo ngetyathanga legolide eluthando lwaKhe. Yinjongo yaKhe ukuba, eyona mpembelelo iphakamileyokwiyunivesi, ephuma kwithende lawo onkeamandla,ibeyeyabo. Kufuneka babe namandla okumelana nobubi, amandla angenakuze oyiswe ngumhlaba, nokufa, nesihogo, amandla aya kubenza boyise njengoko uKristu woyisayo. ULw 679.3
UKristu umisele ukuba ucwangco lwezulu, icebo lezulu lolawulo, intsebenziswano engcwele yezulu, zibe zimele ibanda laKhe emhlabeni. Ngaloo ndlela, uyazukiswa ebantwini baKhe. Ngabo, iLanga loBulungisa liya kukhanya ehlabathini ngokubengezela okungafiphaliyo. UKristu unike ibandla laKhe izixhobo ezaneleyo, ukuze azuze ingeniso enkulu yobuqaqawuli kwaba bahlangulweyo nabathengiweyo abangabaKhe. Ubeke phezu kwabantu baKhe izakhono neentsikelelo ukuze, ukuze bakwazi ukumela ukwanela kwaKhe. Ibandla, lizaliswe bubulungisa bukaKristu, kuvimba waKhe, apho kukho ubutyebi benceba yaKhe, ubabalo lwaKhe, nothando lwaKhe, kufuneka oko kuvele kumboniso opheleleyo wokugqibela. UKristu ukhangele ebantwini baKhe kubunyulu nokugqibelela kwabo, njengomvuzo wokuthotyelwa phantsi kwaKhe, nokongezwa kokuzukiswa kwaKhe,--uKristu, iZiko elikhulu, ekuphuma kulo bonke ubuqaqawuli. UMsindisi wayivala imfundiso yaKhe ngamazwi awomeleleyo, azaliswe lithemba. Emva koko wawuthulula umthwalo womphefumlo waKhe ngokubathandazela abafundi. Ephakamisele ezulwini amehlo aKhe, wathi, “Bawo, lifikile ilixa; mzukise uNyana wakho, ukuze noNyana wakho akuzukise; njengokuba wamnika igunya kubantu bonke, ukuze bonke omnike bona, abanike ubomi obungunaphakade. Bubo ke obu ubomi obungunaphakade, ukuba mabakwazi, wena ukuphela koThixo oyinyaniso, naye uYesu Kristu omthumileyo.” ULw 680.2
UKristu wayewugqibile umsebenzi awayewunikiwe ukuba awenze. Wayemzukisile uThixo emhlabeni. Wayelibonakalalisile igama likaYise. Wayebaqokelele abo babeza kuqhubeka nomsebenzi waKhe phakathi kwabantu. Emva koko wathi, “Andisekhona ehlabathini, ke bona basesehlabathini; mna ndiza kuwe. Bawo Oyingcwele, balondoloze egameni lakho abo undinike bona, ukuze babe banye njengathi.” “Andiceleli ke aba bodwa, ndicelela nabo baya kukholwa kum ngelizwi labo; ukuze bonke babe banye; . . . mna ndikubo, wena ukum, ukuze babe ngabafezekileyo ntweninye; ukuze liqonde ihlabathi ukuba wena undithumile, wabathanda, njengokuba wandithandayo nam.” ULw 680.3
Ngoko ke, ngolwimi lwalowo unegunya lezulu, uKristu unikela ibandla alinyulileyo ezingalweni zikaBawo. Njengombingeleli omkhulu ongcwalisiweyo uthethelela abantu baKhe. Njengomalusi othembekileyo, uyawuqokelela umhlambi waKhe phantsi kwesithunzi sikaSomandla, kwisiphephelo esinamandla nesiqinisekileyo.
