DEVOTIONAL MEETINGS

The early morning hour is given to prayer and praise. The meetings are held in sections, some of those in attendance gathering in the big tent, while others meet in the Seminary chapel, the Sanitarium basement, and in departmental tents. It is not planned to give detailed reports of these meetings. Those already held have been excellent.GCB May 20, 1913, page 64.22

At the seventeenth annual session of the General Conference, held in 1878, according to an official report in the Review, “Canada was taken under the watchcare of the General Conference, as a missionary field.”GCB May 20, 1913, page 64.23

There are none in our ranks more loyal, more willing to sacrifice, and to serve, than our brethren and sisters across the border; and to-day they count themselves as a part of the home field of North America, and share fully in the privileges and the responsibilities of those who have pledged themselves to support the workers in less favored lands.
