Njengokuba nje yonke imithetho ihlanganiswe ekuthandeni uThixo nomntu, akukho nowodwa umthetho onokwaphulwa uze ungaphulwa lo mthetho-siseko. Kungoku uKristu wabafundisa ababemphulaphule ukuba umthetho kaThixo awuyomithetho emininzi eyahlukeneyo, apho eminye ibaluleke kakhulu lo gama eminye ibaluleke kancinane ngoko ke inako ukutyeshelwa kungabikho kohlwaywa. Umbhali owayebuza uYesu wayewufunde kakhulu umthetho, waza wakhwankqiswa ngamazwi aKhe. Wayengamlindelanga ukuba angaveza ubunzulu nokucokiseka kokuzazi iziBhalo. Wayefumene imbono enzulu kakhulu yemithetho-siseko ekumi kuyo imiyalelo engcwele. Intliziyo kaYesu yaba novelwano kulo mbhali unyanisekileyo owaba nesibindi sokujongana nokunyevula kwababingeleli nokoyikisa kwabaphathi, kodwa wasuka wathetha okoyise intliziyo yakhe. “UYesu embonile ukuba uphendule ngengqiqo, wathi kuye, Akukude wena ebukumkanini bukaThixo.” ULw 608.2

Ukuphendula le ntetho yokuba uKristu wayenguNyana kaDavide, uYesu wathi, “Yini na phofu ukuba uDavide ngoMoya [uMoya wempefumlelo ovela kuThixo] ambize ngokuthi, Nkosi, esithi, Yathi iNkosi eNkosini yam, hlala ngasekunene kwam, ndide iintshaba zakho ndizenze isihlalo seenyawo zakho?
