    DECLARATION CONCERNING THE SON

    He is the beginning of the creation of God. Revelation 3:14.BSA 43.2

    The Son of the Living God.” Matthew 16:16.BSA 43.5

    Existed before he came into the world. John 8:58; Micah 5:2; John 17:5, 24.BSA 43.6

    Was made higher than the angels. Hebrews 1:14.BSA 43.7

    He made the world and all things. John 1:1-3; Ephesians 3:3, 9.BSA 43.8

    Was sent into the world by God. John 3:34.BSA 43.9

    In Him dwells all the fullness of the God-head bodily. Colossians 2:9.BSA 43.10

    He is the resurrection and the life. John 11:25.BSA 43.11

    All power is given to him in heaven and earth. Matthew 28:18.BSA 43.12

    He is the appointed heir of all things. Hebrews 1:2.BSA 44.1

    Anointed with the oil of gladness above his fellows. Hebrews 1:9.BSA 44.2

    God has ordained him to be judge of quick and dead. Acts 17:31.BSA 44.3

    Reveals his purposes through him. Revelation 1:1.BSA 44.4

    With such inspired declarations before us, ought we to say that Jesus Christ is the Self-existent, Independent, Omniscient and Only True God; or the Son of God, begotten, upheld, exalted and glorified by the Father?BSA 44.13
