Corinthians 5

It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named (Ephesians 5:3) among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:1

And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:2

For I verily, as absent (Colossians 2:5) in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:3

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:4

To deliver such an one unto Satan (Job 2:6; Psalms 109:6; 1 Timothy 1:20) for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:5

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven (Galatians 5:9) leaveneth the whole lump?KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:6

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover (Genesis 22:8; Isaiah 53:7; John 1:29; John 19:14; 1 Peter 1:19; Revelation 5:6) is sacrificed for us:KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:7

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, (Exodus 12:15) neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:8

I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company (Matthew 18:17; Romans 16:17; 2 John 1:10) with fornicators:KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:9

Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out (John 17:15) of the world.KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:10

But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:11

For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? (Mark 4:11; Colossians 4:5; 1 Timothy 3:7) do not ye judge them that are within?KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:12

But them that are without God judgeth. (Ecclesiastes 12:14; Hebrews 13:4) Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.KJRV — 1Corinthians 5:13
