    Revelation 5

    1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within (Ezekiel 2:10) and on the backside, sealed (Isaiah 29:11; Daniel 12:4) with seven seals.KJRV — Revelation 5:1

    2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?KJRV — Revelation 5:2

    3 And no (John 1:18) man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.KJRV — Revelation 5:3

    4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.KJRV — Revelation 5:4

    5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion (Genesis 49:9) of the tribe of Juda, (Luke 3:33; Hebrews 7:14) the Root (Isaiah 11:1; Isaiah 11:10; Revelation 22:16) of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.KJRV — Revelation 5:5

    6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb (Genesis 22:8; Isaiah 53:7; John 1:29; John 19:14; 1 Corinthians 5:7; 1 Peter 1:19) as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, (Zechariah 3:9; Zechariah 4:10) which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.KJRV — Revelation 5:6

    7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.KJRV — Revelation 5:7

    8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps (Revelation 14:2; Revelation 15:2) , and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers (Psalms 141:2; Revelation 8:3) of saints.KJRV — Revelation 5:8

    9 And they sung a new song (Psalms 40:3; Revelation 14:3) , saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed (1 Corinthians 6:20; Galatians 3:13; Hebrews 9:12) us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, (Isaiah 2:2; Malachi 1:11; Matthew 8:11; Luke 13:29; Acts 10:45; Acts 11:18; Acts 14:27; Romans 15:9; Ephesians 3:6; Revelation 7:9; Revelation 14:6) and tongue, and people, and nation;KJRV — Revelation 5:9

    10 And hast made us unto our God kings (Exodus 19:6; Revelation 1:6) and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.KJRV — Revelation 5:10

    11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand (Psalms 68:17; Daniel 7:10; Hebrews 12:22) times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;KJRV — Revelation 5:11

    12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.KJRV — Revelation 5:12

    13 And every (Philippians 2:10) creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing (Revelation 7:12) , and honour (John 5:23) , and glory, (Ephesians 3:21) and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.KJRV — Revelation 5:13

    14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.KJRV — Revelation 5:14
