    4—Iziphumo Zokreqo

Umzalise ngoMoya kaThixo, ngobulumko, nangengqondo, nangokwazi, nangobungcibi bamashishini onke. . . . Ubeke entliziyweni yakhe ukuyala, yena kwanoAholiyabhi, . . . wesizwe sakwaDan. Ubazalise ngobulumko bentliziyo ukuba benze umsebenzi wonke wokukrola, nowokuluka, . . . ukuluka imfakamfele, ngemisonto . . ., babe ngabenzi bomsebenzi wonke. . . . Basebenza ke ooBhetsaleli noAholiyabhi namadoda onke antliziyo zilumkileyo, awanikileyo uYehova ubulumko nengqondo.” Eksodus 35:30-35; 36:1.     Afuna imivuzo emikhulu ngokusebenza kwawo, ngenxa yobuchule obabuphezulu kumsebenzi weminwe. Kwezinye iindawo ezithile, kwenziwa ngokwesicelo sawo, kwathi amaxesha amaninzi afumana umsebenzi kwizizwe ezingqongileyo. Endaweni yomoya onesidima wokuzincama owawuzalise iintliziyo zamanyange wawo awayesisibonelo, asuka aziyekela kumoya wokubawa, wokuzuza ngakumbi nangakumbi. Ukuze ulangazelelo lwawo olubawayo lwaneliseke, abusebenzisa ubuchule bawo abunikwe nguThixo emsebenzini wokumkani wabahedeni, anikela ngetalente yawo ekufezekiseni imisebenzi eyayingamzukisi uMenzi wawo.AN 63.1

    Kwakukuwo loo madoda apho uSolomon wakhangela indoda engumsebenzi oyintloko ukuba ongamele ukwakhiwa kwetempile eNtabeni iMoriya. Eyona mininingwane, eyayibhaliwe, ngayo yonke indawo yesakhiwo esingcwele, yayinikwe ukumkani; kwaye ngewayelindele kuThixo ngokholo ukuba azuze abancedisi abangcwalisiweyo, ababeza kuba benikwe ubuchule obubodwa bokwenza kanye umsebenzi ofunekayo. Noko kunjalo, uSolomon walahlekwa ngumbono weli thuba lokusebenzisa lokukholwa kuThixo. Wathumela kukumkani waseTire ukuba kuthunyelwe indoda “enobugcisa ukusebenza ngegolide, nangesilivere, nangobhedu, nangesinyithi, nangemisonto emfusa nebomvu nemsi, ekwaziyo ukukrola ndawonye nabalumkileyo abakum kwaYuda naseYerusalem.” 2 IZikronike 2:7.AN 63.2

    Ukumkani waseFenike waphendula ngokuthumela uHuram, unyana wentokazi yasezintombini zakwaDan. Uyise ngumfo waseTire.” Indima 14. UHuram wayeyinzala, ngakwicala lakulonina, ka-Aholiyabhi, ekwanikelwa kuye nguThixo, kumakhulu eminyaka ngaphambili, ubulumko obubodwa bokwakhiwa komnquba.AN 63.3

    Ngaloo ndlela, ukukhokela iqela labasebenzi bakaSolomon kwaya kwabekwa kwindoda emizamo yayo eyayingakhuthazwa kukungasekelezi nzuzo, ukuba isebenzele uThixo. Yayikhonza uthixo weli hlabathi, ubutyebi. Umzimba lo wayo, imisipha nemithambo, yayizele ngumthetho wokufuna ukuzuza.AN 64.1

    Ngenxa yobuchule bakhe obunqabileyo, uHuram wafuna umvuzo omkhulu. Kwathi kancinane, imithetho yakhe yamkeleka kumaqabane akhe. Bathi njengokuba babesebenza naye imihla ngemihla, baziyekela ekuthandeni ukuthelekisa umvuzo wakhe neyabo, baqala ukulahlekwa ngumbono wobungcwele bomsebenzi wabo. Umoya wokuzilandula wabashiya, kwathi endaweni yawo kwabakho umoya wokunqwena. Isiphumo saba kukunyanzelisa umvuzo ophezulu, nto leyo eyathi yenzeka.AN 64.2

    Iimpembelelo ezimbi ezamiselwa ngolo hlobo, zangena kuwo onke amasebe omsebenzi kaYehova, zadlulela kubo bonke ubukumkani. Kwiziphumo zezi mpembelelo ezahamba indawo ende, ungalandwa omnye wonobangela abaphambili kukreqo lwalowo wakha wabalwa phakathi kwabona bantu balumkileyo.AN 64.3

    Umahluko omkhulu phakathi komoya nenkuthazo zabantu ekwakheni umnquba wasentlango, kunye nowabo bakha itempile kaSolomon, unesifundo esinentsingiselo enkulu. Ukubawa okwakuphawuleka kubasebenzi betempile kufumana okungumyelela nako namhlanje ekubaweni okulawula ihlabathi. Umoya wokunqwena, wokufuna esona sikhundlasiphezulukunyeneyonaiphezuluimivuzo, uxhaphakile.AN 64.4

    Inkonzo yentumekelelo novuyo lokuzilandula kwabasebenzi bomnquba kunqabile ukuyifumana. Kanti ke, kuphela komoya lo omele ukuqhuba abalandeli bakaYesu. INkosi yethu yezulu isinike umzekelo wendlela abafundi baYo abamele ukusebenza ngayo. Kwabo wathi kubo, “Yizani apha nindilandele; ndonenza nibe ngababambisi babantu” (Mateyu 4:19), akazange abanike umvuzo oxeliweyo ukuba uya kuba ngakanani ngeenkonzo zokusebenza kwabo. Kwakufuneka babelane naYe ngokuzincama nombingelelo.AN 65.1

    Akungenxa yomvuzo esiwufumanayo ekufuneka sisebenzile. Injongo esikhuthazayo ukuba sisebenzele uThixo akufuneki ukuba kuyo ibe nento yokuzisebenzela. Ukuzinikela okungasekeleze nzuzo nomoya wokubingelela uya kuhlala uyinto yokuqala efunekayo kumsebenzi owamkelekileyo. UYehova iNkosi yethu icebe ukuba kungabikho nomsonto wokubawa osontwe emsebenzini waKhe. Kumalinge ethu kufuneka size nesakhono sokukwazi ukuziphatha nobuchule, ubunkunkqele bokwenza nobulumko, uThixo wemfezeko awayekufuna kubakhi bomnquba wasemhlabeni; kanti ke, kuko konke ukusebenza kwethu, kufuneka sikhumbule ukuba, ezona talente zinkulu okanye eyona misebenzi mihle yamkeleka kuphela xa umna ebekwe phezu kwesibingelelo, engumnikelo ophilayo kumlilo odlayo.AN 65.2

    Okunye ukuphuma ecaleni kwimithetho-siseko elungileyo, okwathi ekugqibeleni kwakhokelela ekuweni kukakumkani kaIsrayeli, yaba kukuziyekela kwisilingo sokuthabathela kuye uzuko olulolukaThixo kuphela.AN 65.3

    Kususela mhla uSolomon wathwaliswa umsebenzi wokwakha itempile, injongo yakhe awazimisela kuyo yaba “[ku]kuyakhela indlu igama likaYehova, uThixo kaIsrayeli.” 2 IZikronike 6:7.     Enye yeendawo ezichukumisa kakhulu emthandazweni wokunikela owenziwa nguSolomon yayikukucengela kuThixo abasemzini ukuba beze besuka kumazwe abo akude baze bafunde ngakumbi ngaYe, odumo lwaKhe lwalusasazeke kude phakathi kwezizwe. “Baya kuliva,” wacenga ukumkani, “igama lakho elikhulu, nesandla sakho esithe nkqi, nengalo yakho eyolukileyo.” Ngenxa yabo bonke aba basemzini abanqulayo, uSolomon wathandaza: “Yiva ke wena, . . . wenze ngako konke athe wakunqula owolunye uhlanga, ukuze zonke izizwe zomhlaba zilazi igama lakho, zikoyike njengabantu bakho amaIsrayeli, zazi ukuba ibizwe ngegama lakho le ndlu ndiyakhileyo.”Iindima 42, 43.AN 66.1

    Ekupheleni kwenkonzo, uSolomon wamkhuthaza uIsrayeli ukuba athembeke anyaniseke kuThixo, “ukuze zazi zonke izizwe zomhlaba,” watsho, “ukuba uYehova nguye uThixo, akukho wumbi.” Indima 60.AN 66.2

    OMkhulu kunoSolomon wayengumyili wetempile; ubulumko nozuko lukaThixo lwalumi khona apho lutyhiliwe. Abo babengaqhelananga nale nyaniso kwazenzekela ukuba babuke bamncome uSolomon njengomzobi nomakhi; kodwa ukumkani wakususa kuye konke ukuphakanyiswa kokuyilwa okanye ukwakhiwa kwayo.AN 66.3

    Kwakunjalo xa ukumkanikazi waseShebha weza kutyelela uSolomon. Ngokuva ngobulumko bakhe nangetempile awayakhayo, wazimisela “ukumlinga ngemibuzo elukhuni” nokuba azibonele ngokwakhe imisebenzi yodumo. Ekhatshwa liqela lezicaka, beneenkamela ezithwele “ubulawu, negolide eninzi kunene, namatye anqabileyo,” wathabatha uhambo olude ukuya eYerusalem. “Weza kuSolomon, wathetha naye konke okube kusentliziyweni yakhe.” Wathetha naye ngeemfihlelo zendalo; waza uSolomon wamfundisa ngoThixo wendalo, uMdali omkhulu, ohlala kweliphezulu kakhulu izulu alawule phezu kwayo yonke indalo. “USolomon wamtyhilela onke amazwi akhe; akubangakho lizwi lifihlakeleyo kukumkani, angabanga nakumtyhilela lona.” 1 Kumkani 10:1-3; 2 IZikronike 9:1, 2.AN 66.4

    “Wabubona ukumkanikazi waseShebha bonke ubulumko bukaSolomon, nendlu abeyakhile, . . . akwaba sabakho kuqina kwamxhelo kuye.” “Libe liyinene ilizwi,” wavuma, “endaliva, ezweni lam, lezinto zakho nobulumko bakho. Andikholwanga ngamazwi lawo, ndada ndeza, abona amehlo am; uyabona, bendingaxelelwanga nesiqingatha esi. Ulugqithile ngobulumko nangokulunga udaba ebendiluvile. Anoyolo amadoda akho, banoyolo aba bakhonzi bakho bemiyo phambi kwakho amaxesha onke, bebuva ubulumko bakho.” 1 Kumkani 10:4-8; 2 IZikronike 9:3-6.AN 67.1

    Ngexesha lokuphela kotyelelo lwakhe, ukumkanikazi wayefundiswe ngokuzeleyo nguSolomon ngethende lobulumko bakhe kunye nempumelelo yakhe kangangokuba wanyanzeleka, ukuba angadumisi umthunywa ongumntu, kodwa adanduluke athi, “Makabongwe uYehova uThixo wakho, okunoneleyo, wakubeka etroneni yakwaIsrayeli ngokuwathanda kwakhe amaIsrayeli ngonaphakade, wakumisa waba ngukumkani, ukuba wenze okusesikweni nobulungisa.” 1 Kumkani 10:9. Yimbono le uThixo awayelungisele ukuba yenziwe kubo bonke abantu. Xa bathe “bonke ookumkani bomhlababafuna ubusobukaSolomon,ukubabeveubulumko bakhe, awayebubeke entliziyweni yakhe uThixo,“(2 IZikronike 9:23), uSolomon okwexesha elithile wamzukisa uThixo ngokuthi, ngembeko, abakhombise kuMdali wamazulu nomhlaba, uMlawuli wendalo yonke, Onobulumko bonke.AN 67.2

    Ukuba uSolomon wayeqhubekile nokuthobeka kwengqondo akususe ukuqwalasela kwabantu kuye akuse kuLowo owamnika ubulumko nobutyebi nokuhlonipheka, kazi ibiya kuba njani imbali yakhe! Kanti ke, lo gama usiba lwempefumlelo lunika ingxelo ngokuhle kwakhe, lukwathwele ubungqina obunyanisekileyo ngokuwa kwakhe. Ephakanyiselwe encotsheni yobukhulu, erhangqwe zizipho zobutyebi, uSolomon waba nencilikithi, akazinza, wawa. Ehleli ephakanyiswa njalo ngabantu behlabathi, kwathi kwakubakudala akakwazi ukumelana nokunconywa kakhulu akunikwayo. Ubulumko abuphathisiweyo ukuze azukise uMniki, bamzalisa ngekratshi. Ekugqibeleni wabavumela abantu ukuba bathethe ngaye njengoyena ufanele ukudunyiswa ngenxa yobumbetshembetshe besakhiwo esacetywayo sakhiwa ukuzukisa “igama likaYehova, uThixo kaIsrayeli.”AN 68.1

    Kungoko kwenzeka ukuba itempile kaYehova yaziwe kuzo zonke izizwe ngokuba “yitempile kaSolomon.” Umthunywa womntu wathabathela kuye uzuko olulolwaLowo “uphakamileyo ukhangele phezu kophakamileyo; kukho abaphakamileyo naphezu kwabo.” Intshumayeli 5:8. Kude kube namhla, itempile uSolomon awathi ngayo, “Le ndlu ndiyakhileyo ibizwa ngegama lakho” (2 IZikronike 6:33), kukholiswa ukuthethwa ngayo, hayi njengetempile kaYehova, kodwa ngokuthi “yitempile kaSolomon.”AN 68.2

    Umntu akanakho ukubonisa obunye ubuthakathaka obukhulu kunokuba avumele abantu ukuba banike yena imbeko ngezipho azinikwe liZulu. UmKristu wenene uya kumenza uThixo ukuba ibe nguYe, ekupheleni, noyena mhle kuko konke. Akukho minqweno yokuthanda ukudunyiswa iya kudakumbisa uthando lwakhe ngakuThixo; kancinane nangokuzingisileyo, uya kwenza ukuba udumo lubuyele kuYise wakhe osemazulwini. Kungexesha sithembekile ekuliphakamiseni igama likaThixo apho kuthi ukubetha kwegazi lethu kuthi kube phantsi kolawulo lwezulu, nesithi sikwazi ukukhuliswa emandleni kamoya nawengqondo.AN 69.1

    UYesu iNkosi yasezulwini, wayesoloko eliphakamisa igama likaYise osezulwini. Wabafundisa abafundi baKhe ukuthandaza bathi, “Bawo wethu osemazulwini, malingcwaliswe igama lakho.” Mateyu 6:9. Kwakufuneka bangalibali ukuvuma, bathi, “Ngokuba [lulolakho] . . . nozuko, . . . .” Indima 13. Wayekulumkele kakhulu uGqirha omkhulu ukutsalela iingqondo kuYe njengeThende lamandla aKhe, kangangokuba izihlwele ezimangalisiweyo, zathi zakubona izidenge zithetha, izilima ziphilile, iziqhwala zihamba, neemfama zibona,” azazukisa Yena, kodwa “zamzukisa uThixo kaIsrayeli.” Mateyu 15:31. Kumthandazo omangalisayo uKristu awawenza kanye phambi kokuba abethelelwe emnqamlezweni, wathi, “Mna ndikuzukisile emhlabeni.” “Mzukise uNyana wakho,” wacela, “ukuze noNyana wakho akuzukise.” “Bawo olilungisa, ihlabathi lona alikwazanga, ke mna ndikwazile; naba bathe bazi ukuba wena undithumile; ndabazisa igama lakho, ndandiya kubazisa; ukuze uthando ondithande ngalo lube kubo, nam ndibe kubo.” Yohane 17:4, 1, 25, 26.AN 69.2

    “Utsho uYehova ukuthi, Isilumko masingaqhayisi ngobulumko baso, igorha malingaqhayisi ngobugorha balo, isityebi masingaqhayisingobutyebi baso.Oqhayisayomakaqhayisengalentoyokuba endiqiqa, endazi mna ukuba ndinguYehova, owenza inceba, nesiko, nobulungisa, ehlabathini; ngokuba ndinanze ezo zinto; utsho uYehova.” Yeremiya 9:23, 24.AN 70.1

    “Ndiya kulidumisa igama likaThixo . . .
    Ndilenze likhulu ngokubulela.”

    “Ufanele, Nkosi, ukwamkela uzuko,
    Nembeko, namandla;

    “Ndiya kubulela kuwe, Nkosi yam,
    Thixo wam, ngentliziyo yonke
    Ndilizukise igama lakho ngonaphakade.”

    “Menzeni mkhulu kunye nam uYehova,
    Siliphakamise kunye igama lakhe.”

    Ukungeniswa kwemithetho-siseko ekhokelela kude kumoya wokubingelela nobhekisa ngasekuzizukiseni, kwakukhatshwa kokunye ukugqwethwa okubi kwecebo lezulu ngoIsrayeli. UThixo wayecebe ukuba abantu baKhe babe kukukhanya kwezwe. Kubo, kwakufuneka kuphume ubuqaqawuli bomthetho waKhe njengoko utyhilwa kubomi obuphilwayo. Ukulenza eli cebo, wenza ukuba isizwe esinyuliweyo sibambe indawo ebaluleke kakhulu phakathi kwezizwe zomhlaba.AN 70.3

    Ngemihla kaSolomon ubukumkani bakwaIsrayeli babusukela kwaHamati kumantla buse eYiputa ezantsi, busuke kulwandle eMeditere buse kumlambo umEfrati. Kuwo wonke lo mmandla kwakukho iindlela ezininzi zemvelo zorhwebo lwehlabathi, apho imiqokozo yabarhwebi abavela kumazwe akude yayidlula khona isiya ibuya ngezorhwebo. Ngoko ke, kwakunikwe ithuba uSolomon kunye nabantu bakhe ithuba lokuveza ebantwini bazo zonke izizwe isimilo sikaKumkani wookumkani, nokubafundisa ukuhlonela nokumthobela.AN 70.4

    Kulo lonke ihlabathi, olulwazi kwakufuneka lunikiwe. Ngokufundisa ngeminikelo yemibingelelo, uKristu wayeza kuphakanyiswa phambi kwezizwe ukuze bonke abanakho baphile.AN 70.5

    Ebekwe waba yintloko yesizwe ebe sibekwe njengentsika yokukhanya kwizizwe ezingqongileyo, uSolomon ngewayesebenzise ubulumko abunikwe nguThixo kunye namandla empembelelo ekuqulunqeni nasekukhokeleni intshukumo enkulu yokukhanyisela abo bangazi nto ngoThixo kunye nenyaniso yaKhe. Ngaloo ndlela izihlwele ngezazizuzelwe ukuthobela imithetho yezulu, uIsrayeli ngewakhuseleka kwizenzo zobubi zabahedeni, aze uYehova wozuko azukiswe kakhulu. Wasuka uSolomon walahlekwa ngumbono wale njongo iphakamileyo. Wasilela ekuphuhliseni amathuba akhe okukhanyisela abo babethe rhoqo ukudlula kummandla wakhe okanye baphumle kwizixeko eziphambili.AN 71.1

    Umoya wovangelo uThixo awawutyala entliziyweni kaSolomon nasezintliziyweni zawo onke amaIsrayeli enene wasunduzwa ngumoya wokwenza imali. Amathuba awayevezwe kukuhlangana nezizwe ezininzi asetyenziselwa okwabo ukuziphakamisa. USolomon wafuna ukuqinisa indawo yakhe kwicala lezombuso ngokwakha izixeko ezinqatyisiweyo kumasango okungena koshishino. Wakha ngokutsha iGezere, kufuphi neYopha, eyayikwindlela ephakathi kweYiputa neSiriya; iBhete-horon, ngakwintshona yeYerusalem, elawula zonke iindlela ezingenelela kwindlela enkulu ephuma kumbindi weYerusalem ukusinga ngasentla; “[ne] Tademoreentlango” (2 IZikronike 8:4),kwindlelayemiqokozo [yabarhwebi] abaphumaempuma. Zonkeizixeko zaqiniswa ngamandla.     Ingeniso kakumkani nabanye abaninzi kwabaphethweyo yanda kakhulu, kodwa yaba ngakanani ilahleko! Ngenxa yokubawa nokubona kufutshane kwabo babenikwe izihlabo zikaThixo, izihlwele ezingenako ukubalwa ezazalisa iindlela zokuhamba zayekwa zingazi nto ngoYehova.AN 72.1

    Ngokuchasene kakhulu nekhondo elalandelwa nguSolomon yabalikhondo elalandelwa nguKristu ngexesha wayesemhlabeni.
