    בַּת־רַבִּים — בתת

    בַּת־רַבִּים

    בַּת־רַבִּים n.pr.loc. (daughter of multitudes) appellation of populous city of Heshbon, or of its gate, Ct 7:5 (‖ חֶשְׁבּוֹן).BDB בַּת־רַבִּים.2

Ez 45:11(×2), 14(×2); also Is 5:10 1 K 7:26, 38 2 Ch 2:9(×2), 4:5 + Ez 45:14(×2) (4 times in this v., Co del. a & d). Ez 45:10 בַּת־צֶדֶק a righteous (right, accurate, full) bath (‖ אֵיפַת־צֶדֶק). The actual size of bath (= ephah) is appar. c. 40 litres (= Attic metretes cf. JosAnt. viii, 2, 9; = 39.39 lit. cf. Boeckh Metrol. Untersuch. 259 f.; v. also J. Brandis Münz- Mass- u.
