    Kuko konke ukuhamba kukaIsrayeli, “ityeya yomnqophiso kaYehova ihambaphambi kwabo, . . . ukubahlolela indawo abangalalisa kuyo.” Numeri 10:33.     UThixo nguThixo wocwangco. Yonke into ehlangene nezulu inocwangco olupheleleyo; ukuthobela nokuphatheka ngqongqo zimpawu zehambo zemikhosi yeengelosi. UThixo ufuna ucwangco nohlelo emsebenzini waKhe, ngeli xesha langoku ngokungekho nganeno kokwemihla kaIsrayeli. Bonke abamsebenzelayo kufuneka basebenze ngobulumko, kungabi ngendlela yokungakhathali nesiphithiphithi. Unga umsebenzi waKhe ungenziwa ngokholo nangokuchanekileyo, ukuze abeke itywina lokuwamkela kwaKhe phezu kwawo.ANa 376.2

    NguThixo ngokwaKhe owayeyalela amaIsrayeli kwiihambo zawo. Indawo yokumisa yayisalathwa ngokuhla komqulu welifu; kuthi ngalo lonke ixesha kufuneka behleli apho, ilufu lihlale phezu komnquba.     Sekunjalo, ekuvakaleni komqondiso kwabezigodlo, inkampu yonke yabheka phambili, umnquba uthwelwe esazulwini, isizwe ngasinye sikwindawo esibekwe kuyo, phantsi kwebhanile yaso.     Emva kweentsuku ezintathu zavakala izikhalazo.     Baphinda kwakhona bakhalela inyama. Nangona babenikwe imana eyaneleyo, babenganelisekanga. AmaIsrayeli, ngexesha lobukhoboka bawo eYiputa, ayenyanzelekile ukuba aphile ngokona kutya kuqhelekileyo nje okungenanto; kodwa kwathi ngenxa yokufuna ukutya okubangwa kukuhlupheka nokusebenza nzima, kwenzeka ukuba bakuthande.     UThixo ngewayebanike ngokulula inyama kwanjengemana, kodwa kwabekwa umqathango ukwenzela okwabo ukulungelwa. Yaye iyinjongo yaKhe ukubanika ukutya okwakuza kulungela iimfuno zabo kunokutya okungenampilo ababekuqhele eYiputa.     UThixo wawakhupha amaIsrayeli eYiputa, ukuze awamise ezweni laseKanan, enyulu, engcwele, onwabile. Ukuze kube nokwenzeka oku, wabanikela kwindlela yoqeqesho, ukwenzela ukulungelwa kwabo kwakunye nokulungelwa kwenzala yabo. Ukungabi nantumekelelo kwabo ukwamkela imiqathango nezinto ezifunwa nguThixo, kakhulukazi, kwabathintela ekufikeleleni kumgangatho ophezulu awayefuna ukuba bafikelele kuwo, nasekuzuzeni iintsikelelo awayekulungele ukuzibeka phezu kwabo.ANa 378.3

    Uthi umdumisi: “Bamlinga uThixo ngentliziyo yabo, ngokuwubizela umphefumlo wabo ukudla. Bathetha ngoThixo, bathi, Unako na uThixo ukulungisa isithebe entlango? Yabona walibetha iliwa, abaleka amanzi, yakhukula nemilanjana; woba nako na nokubanika ukutya, nokubalungiselela inyama abantu bakhe? Weva ke uThixo, waphuphuma umsindo wakhe.” Ndumiso 78:18-21. Ukukrokra nesiphithiphithi zaziqhelekile kuhambo olusuka kuLwandle oluBomvu, kodwa, ngenxa yosizi kukungazi nobumfama babo, uThixo akazange asohlwaye isono ngezibetho. Wayebeke konke esichengeni ngenxa yabantu, kodwa yayindlela abaphendula ngayo le. Bonke ubunzima babo, nokutsala nzima abakucingayo, bakubeka phezu kwakhe;kwaza ukukrokra kwabo okunenkohlakalo, kwawenza wanzima ngokuphindiweyo umthwalo wokubakhathalela, noxanduva awagxadazela eluthwele. Kuxinzelelo lwakhe, walingeka ukuba angamthembi uThixo. Umthandazo wakhe wawusondele ekubeni sisikhalazo. “Yini na ukuba umphathe kakubi umkhonzi wakho lo? Yini na ukuba ndingababalwa nguwe, usuke uwubeke umthwalo waba bantu bonke phezu kwam? . . . Ndoyizuza phi na inyama, ndibanike bonke aba bantu? Ngokuba balila kum, besithi, Sinike inyama sidle. Andinako mna ukubathwala aba bantu ndedwa, ngokuba kunzima oko kum.”ANa 380.1

    UThixo wawuva umthandazo wakhe, wamyalela ukuba abize amadoda angamashumi asixhenxe kumadoda amakhulu akwaIsrayeli, amadoda anganele kuba phambili ngeminyaka, kodwa anesidima, anengqiqo, kunye namava. “Uwazise ententeni yokuhlangana,” watsho, “eme khona nawe. Ndiya kuhla, ndithethe nawe khona, ndicaphule kumoya okuwe ndibeke kuwo, awuthwale nawe umthwalo wabantu aba, ungawuthwali wedwa.”ANa 380.2

    UYehova wamvumela uMoses ukuba azikhethele abantu abangabona banyanisekileyo nabanesakhono sokwabelana naye ngomthwalo. Impembelelo yabo yayiza kunceda ukunqanda inkohlakalo yabantu, nokudambisa uvukelo lolawulo; ukanti kuya kusuka kuvuke ububi obukhulu ekunyuselweni kwabo. Ngebabengazanga banyulwa ukuba uMoses wayebonakalalise ukholo oluhambelana nemiqondiso awayibonayo yamandla nokulunga kukaThixo. Eyona nto yena, wasuka wababaza imithwalo yakhe nomsebenzi wakhe, ade aphantse ukulahlekwa yinto yokuba yena wayesisixhobo nje kuphela awayesebanza ngaso uThixo. Wayengaxoleleki nakancinane, ngokuvumela, umoya wokukrokra owawusisiqalekiso kuIsrayeli. Ukuba wayexhomekeke ngokupheleleyo kuThixo, uYehova ngewamkhokela rhoqo amnike namandla okuhlangana nayo nayiphi imeko evuka ingalindelekanga.ANa 380.3

    “Wathi uMoses, Ngumqikela ongamakhulu omathandathu amawaka abantu endiphakathi kwabo; ke uthi wena, Ndiya kubanika inyama, badle inyanga iphela. Impahla emfutshane neenkomo ziya kuxhelelwa bona na, zibalingane? Ziya kuhlanganiselwa bona na zonke iintlanzi zolwandle, zibalingane?”ANa 381.1

    Wathethiswa kalukhuni ngokungathembi kwakhe: “Isandla sikaYehova sifutshane na? Ngoku uya kubona ukuba ilizwi lam liya kwenzeka, aliyi kwenzeka, kusini na.”ANa 381.2

    UMoses wawaphinda ebandleni amazwi kaYehova, wavakalisa nokukhethwa kwamadoda amakhulu angamashumi asixhenxe. Umngeni wenkokeli enkulu awawunika la madoda anyuliweyo ungasebenza njengesibonelo kwisidima sokugweba kwabagwebi nabaphathi bala maxesha angoku: “Noyilamla into ephakathi kwabazalwana benu, nigwebe ngobulungisa phakathi komntu nomzalwana wakhe, nowasemzini okuye. Ize ningakhethi buso ekugwebeni kwenu; ize nimphulaphule omncinane njengomkhulu, ninganxunguphaliswa bubuso bomntu; ngokuba ukugweba oku kokukaYehova. Duteronomi 1:16, 17.ANa 381.3

    UMoses waya wabizela emnqubeni amashumi asixhenxe. “Wehla uYehova ngelifu, wathetha kuye, wacaphula kumoya okuye, wawubeka kumadoda amakhulu angamashumi osixhenxe; kwathi xa wahlala umoya phezu kwawo, aprofeta, akaphinda kodwa.” Njengabafundi ngemini yePentekoste, bazaliswa “[nga]mandla aphuma enyangweni.” Kwakholeka kuThixo ukuba abalungiselele umsebenzi wabo, nokubazukisa phambi kwebandla, ukuze kubekho ukubathemba njengamadoda anyulelwe ukuba ahlangane noMoses elulawulweni lukaIsrayeli.ANa 381.4

    UThixo wabanika abantu oko kwakungabalungelanga ngokupheleleyo kuba bazingisa ukukufuna; babengasayi kuze baneliswe zezo zinto zaziza kubalulutho kubo. Ulangazelelo lwabo olwaluluvukelo lwaneliswa, kodwa basala bevuna iziphumo.     Ngokuziyekela kumoya wokunganeliseki, uMiriyam wafumana isizathu zokukhalaza kwiziganeko uThixo awayesele ezilawule. Umtshato kaMoses wawungamanelisi. Ukuba akhethe umfazi wesinye isizwe, endaweni yokuthabatha umfazi phakathi kwamaHebhere, kwakuchasekile kusapho lwakhe nakwibhongo lesizwe. UTsiphora wayephethwe ngendelelo efihlakeleyo.ANa 383.3

    Nangona wayebizwa ngokuba “ngumKushikazi” (Numeri 12:1), inkosikazi kaMoses yayingumMidiyan, ngoko eyinzala ka-Abraham. Ngembonakalo yakhe wayahlukile kumaHebhere kuba wayenebala elintsundu. Nangona wayengenguye umIsrayeli, uTsiphora wayenqula uThixo wenene. Wayenobulali, ezolile, enobubele, ethandeka, ekhathazeka kakhulu kukubona intlupheko; kwaye kwakungenxayesi sizathu ukuze uMoses, xawayesiya eYiputa, wathi wavuma ukuba abuyele kwaMidiyan.     Wathi uTsiphora akuhlangana kwakhona nomyeni wakhe entlango, wabona ukuba imithwalo yakhe imtheza amandla, waza walwazisa uloyiko lwakhe kuYitro, owanika amacebiso okumnceda. Esi saba sesona sizathu sikhulu senkcaso kaMiriyam ngakuTsiphora.     Izityholo zabo wazithwala uMoses ethe cwaka, engakhalazi. Yayingamava awawafumana kwiminyaka yokusebenza nzima nokulinda kwaMidiyan, umoya wobulali nokuzeka kade umsindo owakhula apho, wamlungiselela uMoses ukuhlangabezana ngomonde nokungakholwa nokukrokra kwabantu, kunye nekratshi nokunqwena kwabo babemele ukuba ngabancedi bakhe abangagungqiyo. UMoses wayeyindoda “[e]bilulamile kunene kunabantu bonke abasemhlabeni,” yiyo nale nto wanikwa ubulumko bezulu nokukhokela ngaphezu kwabo bonke abanye. Isithembiso saKhe kodwa siya kwabo kuphela banentumekelelo yokumlandela ngokupheleleyo uYehova. UThixo akanyanzeli nekabani intando; kungoko engenako ukubakhokela abanekratshi kakhulu ukuba bangafundiswa, abazimisele ukuhamba ngeyabo indlela. Indoda engqondo imbaxa, efuna ukulandela intando yayo, lo gama isithi yenza intando kaThixo, kubhalwe kwathiwa ngayo, “Indoda emphefumlo umbaxa iyahlozinga kuzo zonke iindlela zayo.” Yakobi 1:7.ANa 384.2

    UThixo wayenyule uMoses, wabeka uMoya waKhe ngaphezu kwakhe; uMiriyam noAron, ngokukrokrawabo, babanetyala lokunganyaniseki, kungekuphela kwinkokeli yabo enyuliweyo, kodwa nakuThixo ngokwaKhe. Abahlebi abaqhwaya uqhushululu babizelwa emnqubeni, bajongana ubuso ngobuso noMoses. “Wehla uYehova ngomqulu welifu, wema emnyango wentente, wabiza ooAron noMiriyam.” Ibango labo lesipho sokuprofeta alizange likhanyelwe; uYehova wayesenokuba wayethethile nabo ngemibono nangamaphupha. Sekunjalo, kuMoses, awathi ngaye uYehova, “unyanisekile yena endlwini yam yonke,” kwakunikelwe unxulumano olusondele kakhulu. Ngaye uThixo wathetha umlomo nomlomo. “Yini na ukuba ningoyiki ukuthetha ngomkhonzi wam uMoses? Wavutha umsindo kaYehova kubo, wemka yena.” Lemka ilifu emnqubeni njengomqondiso wokungakholwa kukaThixo, wabethwa uMiriyam. Ngenxa yesikhundla sakhe esiphezulu, nokulilela ubetho olube phezu kwakhe, isihlwele sonke sahlala eHazeroti silindele ukubuya kwakhe.ANa 385.1

    Oku kubonakalisa kukaYehova ukungakholiseki kwaKhe kwalungiselelwa ukuba kube sisibonelo kuye wonke uIsrayeli, ukuze kuthinteleke umoya owawukhula wokunganeliseki nokungathobeli. Ukuba ukunqwena kukaMiriyam nokunganeliseki kwakungathanga kukhalinyelwe qatha, kwakuya kuba nesiphumo esibi kakhulu. Umnqweno sesinye zeempawu zongendawo eziphambili ezihlala entliziyweni yomntu, saye sesinye esinezona ziphumo zikhohlakeleyo. Ithi indoda esisilumko, “Ubujorha bunobushushu, umsindo sisiphango; nekhwele, ngubani na onokuma phambi kwalo?” Mizekeliso 27:4. Yayingumona unobangela wesiphithiphithi ezulwini, kwaza ukuziyekela kuwo kwazisa ububi obungenamlinganiselo ebantwini. “Kuba apho kukhoyo umona neyelenqe, kubakho isiphithiphithi nemicimbi emibi yonke.” Yakobi 3:16.ANa 385.2

    Akufuneki ithatyathwe njengento encinane ukuthetha kakubi ngabanye okanye ukuba sizenze abagwebi beenjongo okanye izenzo zabo. “Lowo uthetha okubi ngomzalwana, amgwebe umzalwana wakhe, uthetha okubi ngomthetho; ke, ukuba uyawugweba umthetho, akumenzi wamthetho, ungumgwebi.” Yakobi 4:11. Mnye ongumgwebi — Lowo [uyiNkosi] “eya kuthi izikhanyise nokukhanyisa nokuzikhanyisa izinto ezifihlakeleyo zobumnyama, iwabonakalalise amacebo entliziyo.” 1 Korinte 4:5. Nawuphi na othabathela kuye ukugweba nokugxeka umzalwana wakhe uzithabathela kuye ilungelo loMdali.ANa 385.3

    IBhayibhile ifundisa ngokukodwa ukuba sikulumkele ukuzisa izityholo ngakwabo uThixo ababizileyo ukuba babe ngabameli baKhe. Umpostile uPetros, echaza udidi lwabo bangaboni abalahliweyo, uthi, “Ngabasileyo, abenza ngokuzithandela abangoyikiyo ukunyelisa izikhakhamela. Ukanti izithunywa zezulu, zingaphezulu nje ngokomelela namandla, azizigwebi ngamgwebo unyelisayo phambi kweNkosi.” Petros 2:10, 11. UPawulos yena, kwimfundiso yakhe kwabo babekwe phezu kwebandla, uthi, “Ukumangalelwa kwendoda enkulu musa ukukwamkela, kungabangakho mangqina mabini nokuba mathathu.” 1 Timoti 5:19.
