    1—Kungani Ukuba Isono Sivunyelwe?

    Konke okubonakala emandleni adalayo, kutyhila uthando olungenakulinganiswa. Ubukumkani bukaThixo buquka ukuphelela kwentsikelelo kubo bonke abantu abadalileyo. Umdumisi uthi:ANa 33.2

    “Yeyakho ingalo enobugorha; sithe nkqi isandla sakho.
    Ummiso wetrone yakho bubulungisa nokusesikweni;
    Inceba nenyaniso ilungiselela phambi kwakho.
    Hayi, uyolo lwabantu abakwaziyo ukuduma!
    Bayakuhamba ekukhanyeni kobuso bakho, Yehova.
    Baya kugcoba egameni lakho imini yonke,

    UMphathi weyunivesi wayengeyedwa kumsebenzi waKhe wesisa. Wayenehlakani--asebenza kunye naLo elalizihlonipha iinjongo zaKhe, libe naYe kuvuyo lwaKhe lokunika ulonwabo kubantu abadaliweyo. “Ekuqalekeni ube ekho uLizwi, waye uLizwi ekuye uThixo, waye uLizwi enguThixo. Yena lowo ebekho ekuqalekeni kuThixo.” Yohane 1:1, 2. UKristu, uLizwi ekuphela kozelweyo kaThixo, wayemnye noBawo ongunaphakade—ngemvelo, ngesimilo, ngenjongo—ikuphela komntu onokungena kumagqugula neenjongo zikaThixo. “Igama lakhe kuthiwa nguMmangaliso, nguMcebisi, nguThixo oligorha, nguSonini-nanini, nguMthetheli woxolo.” Isaya 9:6. “Oziphumo zakhe zisusela kumandulo, zisusela kwimihla yasephakadeni.” Mika 5:2. UNyana kaThixo uthi xa ethetha ngesiqu saKhe, “UYehova wandivelisa ndaba yintlahlela yendlela, ndaba ngowamandulo emisebenzini yakhe yakudala. . . .     UYise wasebenza ngoNyana waKhe ekudaleni zonke izidalwa zezulu. “Iinto zonke zadalwa ngaye, . . . ooziphathamandla namatshawe, oozilawuli noomagunya. UThixo walidala ngaye elidalela yena ihlabathi liphela.” Kolose 1:16, IBHAYIBHILE. Iingelosi zingabalungiseleli bakaThixo, zihleli zibengezela kukukhanya okuphuma kubukho baKhe, zaye zibaleka ngamaphiko akhawulezayo ukwenza intando yaKhe. UNyana Yena, umthanjiswa kaThixo, “[u]mbhalo wenkqu yakhe,” “elubengezelo lobuqaqawuli bakhe,” “ezithwele nokuzithwala zonke izinto ngalo ilizwi lamandla aKhe,” unobukhulu phezu kwazo zonke. Hebhere 1:3. “Wena trone yobuqaqawuli, mongamo kwasekuqaleni,” yayiyindawo yengcwele yaKhe (Jeremiya 17:12); “yintonga ethe tye,” intonga yobukumkani baKhe. Hebhere 1:8. “Yindili nobungangamela phambi kwakhe, ngamandla nokuhomba engcweleni yakhe.” Ndumiso 96:6. Inceba nenyaniso zihamba phambi kobuso baKhe. Ndumiso 89:14.ANa 34.2

    Umthetho wothando usisiseko solawulo lukaThixo, ulonwabo lwazo zonke izidalwa ezinobulumko luxhomekeke phezu kokuhambelana okugqibeleleyo kwazo nemithetho-siseko emikhulu yobulungisa. UThixo ufuna kuzo zonke izidalwa zaKhe inkonzo yothando—inkonzo ephuma ekuxatyisweni kwesimilo saKhe. Akakwamkeli ukuthotyelwa ngokunyanzelwa; waye ebanika bonke inkululeko yokuzicingela, ukuze bamnike inkonzo yokuzithandela.ANa 34.3

    Ngalo lonke ixesha zonke izidalwa zazikuvuma ukuthobela ngothando, kwakukho ucwangco olukhulu kuyo yonke indalo kaThixo. Kwakuluvuyo kwimikhosi yasezulwini ukuzalisekisa injongo yoMdali wayo. Yayikonwabela ukubonakalisa ubuqaqawuli baKhe nokunyusela kuYe indumiso. Ngexesha ukuthanda uThixo kwakuphezulu, uthando lomnye komnye umntu lwalunokumthemba, lungasekelezanga okwalo. Kwakungekho nto yayisisibhidi kucwangco lwasezulwini. Kuthe kunjalo kwakho nto iphazamisa le meko yolonwabo. Kwabakho othile owayibhoxayo inkululeko uThixo awayeyinike izidalwa zaKhe. Ubuse-Eden emyezweni kaThixo; onke amatye anqabileyo abe sisigubungelo sakho. . . . Waye uyikerubhi egqubuthelayo; ndakwenza ke, waba sentabeni engcwele kaThixo, wahambahamba phakathi kwamatye anomlilo. Wagqibelela ngeendlela zakho, kususela kwimini yokudalwa kwakho, kwada kwafumaneka ubugqwetha kuwe.” Hezekile 28:12-15.ANa 35.1

    Kancinane, kancinane, uKhwezi wangenelwa kukuziyekela kulangazelelo lokuziphakamisa. IsiBhalo sithi, “Intliziyo yakho iphakamile ngenxa yobuhle bakho, ubonakalisile ubulumko bakho kunye nokubengezela kwakho.” Hezekile 28:17. “Wena ke wathi entliziyweni yakho, . . . ndiyinyuse itrone yam ibe ngaphezu kweenkwenkwezi zikaThixo. . . . ndizifanise nOsenyangweni.” Isaya 14:13, 14. Nangona bonke ubuqaqawuli babuphuma kuThixo, le ngelosi inamandla yafikelela apho yabuthabatha ngokungathi buphuma kuyo. Yathi inganeliswanga sisikhundla sayo, nangona yayiphakanyiswe ngaphezu kwawo wonke umkhosi wezulu, yangenelwa kukunqwenela intlonipho efanele uMdali kuphela. Endaweni yokuzama ukuba imbeke phezulu uThixo ekuthandweni nasekuthotyelweni zizidalwa zonke, yaba ngumzamo wayo ukuzuzela kuyo inkonzo nokuthenjwa. Yathi ngokunqwenela uzuko olwalubekwa nguBawo ongenasiphelo phezu koNyana waKhe, eli tshawe leengelosi laxhunela kwigunya elalililungelo likaKristu kuphela.ANa 35.2

    Ngeli xesha, ucwangco lwasezulwini lwagxobheka. Imeko kaKhweziyokuzikhonzaendaweni yoMdali wakhe yavusa imvakalelo yonxunguphalo xa iqwalaselwe ngabo babesithi uzuko lukaThixo lumele ukuba phezulu. Kwiqumrhu lasezulwini, iingelosi zamcenga uKhwezi. UNyana kaThixo wabandlala phambi kwakhe ubukhulu, ukulunga, kunye nobulungisa bukaMdali, kunye nemvelo yoMthetho waKhe ongcwele, nongaguqukiyo. UThixo ngokwaKhe wayelumisile uhlelo lwasezulwini; kwaye ngokusuka kulo, uKhwezi wayengamzukisi uMenzi, ekwazizisela intshabalalo phezu kwakhe. Sekunjalo, isilumkiso esanikwa ngothando nenceba engenamda, sasuka savusa umoya wovukelo. UKhwezi wavumela umona ngakuKristu ukuba ulawule, waza wazimisela ngakumbi.ANa 36.1

    Ukuphikisa ubukhulu bukaNyana kaThixo, oko ikukususa esihlalweni ubulumko nothando loMdali, kwaba yeyona njongo yeli tshawe leengelosi. Kule njongo, kulapho wayeza kuwachitha khona amandla engqondo yakhe enkulu, eyayiyeyona iphambili kuzo zonke izihlwele zikaThixo, emva kwekaKristu. Lowo othanda ukuba intando yezidalwa zaKhe ikhululeke, akazange ashiye nasinye singakhuselekanga kubuqhetseba obuyingozi ekuthi ngabo uvukelo lufune ukuzithethelela. Phambi kokuba kuqale idabi elikhulu, zonke kwafuneka ukuba ziyixelelwe kakuhle intando yaKhe, enobulumko nokulunga, apho lwaluya kuphuma khona lonke ulonwabo lwabo.ANa 36.2

    UKumkani wendalo yonke wabizela phambi kwaKhe yonke imikhosi yezulu, ukuze abeke phambi kwayo eyona ndawo yoNyana waKhe abonise ubudlelane anabo kuzo zonke izidalwa. UNyana kaThixo wabelana noYise ngetrone, lwaye uzuko longunaphakade, lwaLowo wabakho ngokukokwaKhe, lubarhangqe bobabini. Emacaleni onke etrone kwakukho iingelosi, isihlwele esikhulu esingenakubalwa--“izigidi zezigidi” (IsiTyhilelo 5:11.), ezona ngelosi ziphezulu, ezilungiselelayo neziphethweyo, zonwabile kukukhanya okwakufika kuzo kuphuma phambi kukaThixo. Phambi kwabahlali bezulu ababehlanganisene, ukumkani wavakalisa ukuba, akukho wumbi, ngaphandle kukaKristu kuphela, uNyana kaThixo ekuphela kozelweyo, onokungena ngokupheleleyo kwiinjongo zaKhe, kwaye kukuYe kuphela ekunikelwe ukuba enze izicwangciso zentando yaKhe. UNyana kaThixo wenza intando kaYise ekudaleni kwayo yonke imikhosi yezulu; kwaye inguye noThixo abafanelwe kukunikwa imbeko nokuthotyelwa. UKristu kwakusafuneka esebenzise amandla ezulu ekudaleni umhlaba nabemi bawo. Kuko konke oku wayengayi kuzifunela igunya okanye ukuphakanyiswa okuchasene necebo likaThixo, kodwa uya kuphakamisa uzuko lukaYise afezekise iinjongo zobubele nesisa saKhe.ANa 36.3

    Iingelosi zabuvuma ngovuyo ubukhulu bukaKristu, zathoba phambi kwaKhe, zithulula uthando nokumdumisa. UKhwezi wathoba kunye nazo, kodwa entliziyweni yakhe kukho impikiswano engaqhelekanga neyoyikekayo. Inyaniso, ubulungisa, nokunyaniseka konke kusilwa nomnqweno nomona. Impembelelo yeengelosi ezingcwele yakhangeleka okomzuzwana ingathi imthwele. Xa iingoma zendumiso zinyuka ngendili emnandi, iphuma kumawaka amazwi anovuyo, umoya ombi wakhangeleka usoyiswa; uthando olungathethekiyo lwamthi hlasi ewonke; umphefumlo wakhe waphuma, ngokuhambelana nabanquli abangenasono, ngothando kuYise nakuNyana. Kunjalo, wabuya waphinda wazaliswa likratshi ngolwakhe uzuko. Ulangazelelo lwakhe lokuba phezulu lwabuya, ukumonela kwakhe uKristu kwafika kwakhona. Imbeko enkulu awayinikwayo uKhwezi ayizange ixatyiswe njengesipho esikhethekileyo sikaThixo, kwaza oko kwenza ukuba angabi nawo umbulelo kuThixo. Wazizukisa ngokubengezela nokubekwa kwakhe phezulu, endaweni yoko wanqwenela ukulingana noThixo. Wayethandwa ehlonitshwa zizihlwele zasezulwini, iingelosi zikuvuyela ukwenza imiyalelo yakhe, embathiswe ngobulumko nobuqaqawuli ngaphezu kwazo zonke. Noko kunjalo, uNyana kaThixo wayephakanyiswe ngaphezu kwakhe, njengalowo wayesemandleni nasegunyeni kunye noYise. Wayekunye noYise emagquguleni, ngeli lixa uKhwezi engenako ukungena kwiinjongo zikaThixo. “Kutheni,” yabuza le ngelosi inamandla, “le nto uKristu enobukhulu? Kutheni ehlonitshwa ngaphezu kukaKhwezi?”ANa 37.1

    Eshiya indawo yakhe kanye phambi koBawo, uKhwezi waphuma waya kusasaza umoya wakhe wokunganeliseki phakathi kwezinye iingelosi. Wasebenza ngendlela esemfihlakalweni, okwethuba eyifihlile injongo ngokuziveza ngathi uyamhlonela uThixo. Waqala ngokufaka intandabuzo ngakwimithetho eyayilawula izidalwa zezulu, esithi, nangona imithetho ifuneka kubahlali basezulwini, iingelosi, njengoko ziphakanyisiwe, azidingi kuqhotyoshwa, kuba ubulumko bazo babanele ukuba buzikhokele. Zazingezizo izidalwa ezinokuzisa ihlazo kuThixo; zonke iingcamango zazo zazingcwele; zazingenako ukona kanye njengokuba noThixo engenako ukona. Ukuphakanyiswa koNyana kaThixo njengolingana noYise, kwabekwa njengokungabikho kobulungisa ngakuKhwezi, lowo, xa kubangwa, wayeyifanele intlonipho nembeko. Ukuba le nkosana yeengelosi ibingazuza isikhundla sayo esifanelekileyo, nesiphezulu, kuninzi okulungileyo ebekuya kufunyanwa sisihlwele sasezulwini; kuba yayiyinjongo yayo ukuzizuzela inkululeko zonke. Ngeli xesha, naloo nkululeko zaziyonwabele ukuza kuthi ga kwelo thuba, yayifikelela ekupheleni; kuba uMlawuli wako konke babembekelwe, kwaye kwakufuneka linikwe imbeko yonke igunya laKhe.     Kwakungekho lutshintsho kwisikhundla negunya likaKristu. Ukunqwena kukaKhwezi okanye ukuzimisa ngolunye uhlobo, namabango akhe okulingana noKristu kwenza ukuba kufuneke intetho ngesikhundla senene sikaNyana kaThixo; kodwa oku bekuhleli kunjalo kwasekuqalekeni. Iingelosi ezininzi zaziye zamfamekiswa yinkohliso kaKhwezi.ANa 38.1

    Wathi ngokubona ukubekwa kokuthenjwa okunothando nokunyanisekileyo phezu kwakhe zizidalwa ezingcwele ezazingaphantsi kokuyalelwa nguye, ngobuchule, wafaka ezingqondweni zazo okwakhe ukungathembeki nokunganeliseki ukuze umsebenzi wakhe ungabi nakuqondakala. UKhwezi wazibeka iinjongo zikaThixo ngendlela yobuxoki--eziphixanisa ezijija ukuze avuse ukreqo nokunganeliseki. Ngobuqhophololo, wazitsala ezo zimphulaphuleyo ukuba zizixele iimvakalelo zazo; zaza izinto ezithethiweyo zaphindwa nguye xa zinokufeza injongo yakhe, njengobungqina bokuba iingelosi zazingahambelani ngokupheleleyo nolawulo lukaThixo. Nangona wayesithi yena uthembele ngokupheleleyo kuThixo, waye ekhuthaza ukuba utshintsho ekwenziweni kwezinto nemithetho yezulu zizinto ezifunekayo ukuze kubekho ucwangco kulawulo lwezulu. Ngoko ke, ngexesha esebenzela ukuba kuvuke inkcaso ngakumthetho kaThixo, efaka okwakhe ukunganeliseki ezingqondweni zeengelosi eziphantsi kwakhe, ngokukhohlisa, wenza ngathi ufuna ukususa ukunganeliseki nokubuyisela iingelosi ezigwilikayo kucwangco lwezulu. Ngexesha ekhulisa isiphithiphithi novukelo, wazama ngobuchule obukhulu, ukuba abonakale engathi unenjongo yokukhuthaza ukunyaniseka nokugcina intsebenziswano noxolo.ANa 38.2

    Umoya wokunganeliseki owaphenjelelwa ngolo hlobo, wawuwenza umsebenzi wawo othiyekileyo. Nangona kwakungekho luvukelo lubonakalayo, ukwahlukana kwezimvo kwangena ngokucondobayo phakathi kweengelosi. Zabakho ezazikhangela njengeziyinyaniso iintetho zikaKhwezi ezichasene nolawulo lukaThixo. Nangona ukuza kuthi ga ngoku zazisavumelana ngokupheleleyo nohlelo olwalumiswe nguThixo, ngoku zaya azaneliseka, zingonwatyiswanga kukungakwazi ukungena kumagqugula kaThixo angenako ukugocwagocwa; zinganeliswanga yinjongo yaKhe ekuphakamiseleni phezulu uKristu. Ezi zaya zema zilungele ukuxhasa ibango likaKhwezi lokulingana ngegunya noNyana kaThixo. Iingelosi ezazithembekile, zinyanisekile zabugcina ubulumko nobulungisa bomyalelo ongcwele zaza zazama ukuzixolelanisa ezo zigwilikayo kwintando kaThixo. UKristu wayenguNyana kaThixo; waye ekunye naYe kwaphambi kokuba zibekho iingelosi. Wayemi okokoko ngasekunene kukaYise; ubukhulu baKhe, buzele yintsikelelokubobonkeabezaphantsi kolawulolwabo obunobubele, ukuza kufika kweli xesha,abuzanga bakrokrisa. Ucwangco lwasezulwini aluzanga lwaphazanyiswa; kungani ukuba ngoku kubekho ukungavisisani? Iingelosi ezithembekileyo zazibona iziphumo ezibi kolu kreqo, zaza zathi zinyanisekile, zazicebisa ezinganelisekanga ukuba ziyiyeke injongo yazo zibonakalise ukunyaniseka kuThixo ngokukholelwa kulawulo lwaKhe.ANa 38.3

    Ngenceba enkulu, ngokwesimilo saKhe esingcwele, uThixo wamnyamezela ixesha elide uKhwezi. Umoya wokunganeliseki nenkcaso wawungazanga wabonwa ezulwini. Wawuyinto entsha, engaqhelekanga, eyimfihlelo, nengenangxelo. UKhwezi ngokwakhe, ekuqaleni, wayengaqhelananga neyona meko yezimvo zakhe; kwaba lithuba esoyika ukuthetha ngoko kwakumsebenza kunye nokucabanga kwengqondo yakhe; ukanti akazange azisuse kuye. Akazange azibone nokuba uya esimka. Wona amalinge anokucetywa kuphela luthando nobulumko obungenasiphelo, enziwa ukuzama ukumbonisa impazamo yakhe. Kwabonakaliswa ukuba inkcaso yakhe ayinasizathu, waboniswa ukuba siya kuba yintoni isiphumo sokuqhubeka novukelo. UKhwezi woyisakala, waziqonda ukuba uphosisile. Wabona ukuba “ulilungisa uYehova ngeendlela zakhe zonke, unenceba ngezenzo zakhe zonke.” (Ndumiso 145:17); ukuba imithetho yezulu ilungile, nokuba kufuneka akuvume oko phambi kwalo lonke izulu. Ukuba wayekwenzile oku, ngewayezisindisile yena kunye neengelosi ezininzi. Wayengekakulahli ngokupheleleyo ngelo xesha ukwayama kuThixo. Nangona wayesishiyile isikhundla sakhe sokuba yikherubhi egqubuthelayo, ukuba wayenentumekelelo ukubuyela kuThixo, abuvume ubulumko boMdali, aneliseke kukuthabatha kwakhe indawo ayinikiweyo kwicebo elikhulu likaThixo, ngewaye buyiselwe kwisikhundla sakhe. Lalifikile ixesha lesigqibo sokugqibela; kufuneka ayekele ngokupheleleyo kubukumkani bezulu okanye azibeke kuvukelo oluselubala. Kwasala kancinane ukuba afikelele kwisigqibo sokubuya, kodwa ikratshi lamalela. Yayingumbingelelo omkhulu kakhulu kowayexatyiswe kakhulu ukuvuma ukuba ube nemposiso, ukuba iingcamango zakhe zibe zibubuxoki, nokuziyekela kwigunya abesebenzela ukubonisa ukuba alinabulungisa.ANa 39.1

    UMdali onemfesane, ngenceba enenzondelelo ngakuKhwezi kunye nabalandeli bakhe, wayefuna ukumkhupha abuye kumwonyo wentshabalalo awayeza kungena kuwo. Inceba yaKhe yabonwa ngenye indlela. UKhwezi wakubona ukunyamezela kukaThixo njengobungqina bobakhe, Khwezi, ubukhulu, into ebonisa ukuba ukumkani weyunivesi uya kuyekela kweyakhe imiqathango. Ukuba iingelosi zingema ziqineANa 40.1

    Ngokwala ngokudelela iingxoxo nezicengo zeengelosi ezinyanisekileyo, wazigxeka njengamakhoboka alahlekisiweyo. Ukukhethwa okubonakalaliswe kuKristu wathi kusisenzo sokuswela ubulungisa ngakuye nakuwo wonke umkhosi wezulu, wavakalisa ukuba akasayi kuqhuba ethobela olu gonyamelo lwamalungelo akhe kunye nawabanye. Akasayi kube aphinde abuvume ubukhulu bukaKristu. Wazimisela ukubanga ukuhlonitshwa ebekufanele ukuba uyakunikwa, athabathe ulawulo lwabo bonke abaya kuba ngabalandeli bakhe; wabathembisa abo baya kungena kuluhlu lwakhe ngolawulo olutsha nolungcono, abaya kuthi bonke phantsi kwalo baxhamle inkululeko. Amaqela amakhulu eengelosi abonisa injongo yawo yokumamkela njengenkokeli. Iingelosi awayengakwazi ukuzizisa ngokupheleleyo kwicala lakhe, wazityhola ngokungabi nankathalo kwizinto zezidalwa zasezulwini.     UThixo wayenokusebenzisa kuphela oko kwakuhambelana nenyaniso nobulungisa. USathana wayenokusebenzisa oko uThixo wayengenako ukukusebenzisa—uhanahaniso nenkohliso. Wazama ukuwenza abe ngathi abubuxoki onke amazwi kaThixo, waliveza ngenye indlela icebo lolawulo lwaKhe, ebanga ukuba uThixo wayengalungisanga ukubeka imithetho ezingelosini; nokuba, ngokufuna ukuzinikela nokuthotyelwa zizidalwa zaKhe, wayefuna nje ukuphakanyiswa kwaKhe.     Lowo ulawula amazulu ngulowo ubona isiphelo kwasekuqaleni—lowo zityhilekileyo phambi kwakhe zonke iimfihlelo zexesha eladlulayo nelizayo, nothi, ngaphaya kwentlekele nobumnyama kunye nentshabalalo eziswa sisono, abone ukuphumelela kwezaKhe iinjongo zothando nentsikelelo. Nangona ku“ngamafu nesithokothoko ngeenxa zonke kuye, bubulungisa nokusesikweni ummiso wetrone yakhe.” Ndumiso 97:2.
