    USawule wayelungiselela ukuba ambhabhise ambambe uDavide emqolombeni waseAdulam, kwathi kwakufunyaniswa ukuba uDavide uyishiyile le ndawo yokuphephela, ukumkani wanengqumbo enkulu.     Waqinisekisa kumaphakathi akhe ukuba kukho iyelenqe elenziweyo ukumchasa, waza wathi, ngomnikelo wezipho ezikhulu nezikhundla eziphezulu, wabathenga ukuba baveze ukuba ngubani phakathi kwabantu bakhe onobuhlobo noDavide. UDowegi umEdom wajika wangumncethezi.
