    54—UmSamariya Olungileyo

    [Esi sahluko sisekwe kuLuka 10:25-37.]

    Ngebali lomSamariya olungileyo, uKristu uzekelisa indalo yenkolo yenene. Ubonisa ukuba ayenziwanga ngamahlelo, iinkolo, okanye iinkonzo, kodwa ngokwenziwa kwezenzo zothando, ekuziseni okulunge kakhulu kwabanye, ngokulunga okukuko. ULw 497.1

    Kwathi uKristu efundisa abantu, kwafika “umqondisimthetho othile, emlinga nokumlinga, esithi, Mfundisi, ndenze ntoni na ukuze ndibudle ilifa ubomi obungunaphakade?” Ngokothuka okwenza kwanzima nokuphefumla, isihlwele salindela impendulo. ULw 497.2

    Ababingeleli nabafundisi babecinge ukumrhintyela uKristu ngokuthi umqondisimthetho abuze lo mbuzo. UMsindisi akazange angene kwimbambano. Wafuna impendulo kwakulo ebebuza. “Emthethweni kubhalwe ntoni na?” Wathi; “Ulesa njani na?” AmaYuda ayesamtyhola uYesu ngokungawuxabisi umthetho owanikelwa eSinayi; kodwa wabuyela kumbuzo wosindiso ngokugcinwa komthetho kaThixo. ULw 497.3

    Umqondisi-mthetho wathi, “Uze uyithande iNkosi uThixo wakho ngentliziyo yakho iphela, nangomphefumlo wakho uphela, nangamandla akho ephela, nangengqondo yakho iphela; nommelwane wakho, njengoko uzithanda ngako.” UYesu wathi, “Uphendule walungisa; yenza oko, wobudla ubomi.”ULw 497.4

    Umqondisi-mthetho wayenganeliswanga sisikhundla nayimisebenzi yabaFarisi. Wayezifunda iziBhalo ngolangazelelo lokufumana eyona ntsingiselo yazo. Wayenomdla ophilileyoemcimbini, wazawabuzaenyanisekile, “Ndenze ntoni na?” ekuphenduleni kwakhe ngokufunwa ngumthetho, wayidlula yonke imfumba yemithetho yamadini nemiyalelo yeenkonzo. Wazibona ezi zingenaxabiso, kodwa wanika imithetho-siseko emikhulu emibini ekuxhomekeke kuyo wonke umthetho nabaprofeti. Impendulo, eyanconywa nguKristu, yambeka kwindawo entle uMsindisi ngakubafundisi. Babengakwazi ukumgweba ngokuvuma oko bekukhuthazwa ngumchazi womthetho.ULw 497.5

    “Yenza oko, wobudla ubomi,” watsho uYesu. Wawunika umthetho njengembumba engcwele, wathi kwesi sifundo wafundisa ukuba akwenzeki ukuba kugcinwe umthetho omnye, uze omnye waphulwe, kuba lo mthetho-siseko mnye uyityhutyha yonke.     Umqondisimthetho wazifumana engumgqithi womthetho. Wayebanjiswe ngamazwi kaKristu aphengululayo. Ubulungisa bomthetho, awayesithi uyawazi, akazange abenze. Akazange alubonakalalise uthando ngakubazalwana bakhe. Inguquko yayidingeka; endaweni yokuguquka, wazama ukuzithethelela. Endaweni yokuba ayivume inyaniso, wazama ukubonisa indlela ekunzima ngayo ukuzalisekisa umthetho. Ngoko ke, wayethembe kokubini, ukuthomalalisa isazela nokuzithethelela emehlweni abantu. Amazwi oMsindisi ayebonise ukuba lo mbuzo wawungadingeki, njengoko wayekwazile ukuwuphendula yena ngokwakhe. Kanti ke wabuya wabeka omnye umbuzo, “Ngubani na ongummelwane wam?” ULw 498.2

    Phakathi kwamaYuda lo mbuzo wabanga impikiswano engapheliyo. Ayengenayo intandabuzo ngabahedeni namaSamariya; aba babengabasemzini neentshaba. Wawuza kuba phi kodwa umahluko phakathi kwabantu besizwe sabo, naphakathi kweendidi ezahlukeneyo zasemphakathini? Ngubani ababeza kuthi ababingeleli, namadoda amakhulu, ungummelwane? Bachitha ubomi babo kwiinkonzo zemibingelelo ukuzihlambulula. Ukuchukumisana nesihlwele esingazi nto nesingakhathaliyo, babefundise ukuba, kwakuza kungcolisa, kuze kufune umgudu ongapheliyo wokukususa ukungcola oko. Ingaba kwakufuneka babamkele abangahlambulukanga”njengabamelwane? ULw 498.3

    Waphinda uYesu wala ukutsalelwa kwimbambano. Akazange azigwebe iinkani zabo babezikhangelela ithuba lokumgweba. Ngebali nje elilula, waphakamisa phambi kwabaphulaphuli baKhe umfanekiso wokuphuphuma kothando lwasezulwini ngendlela eya chukumisa zonke iintliziyo, yarhola kumqondisimthetho ukuvunywa kwenyaniso. ULw 498.4

    Indlela yokugxotha ubumnyama kukungenisa ukukhanya. Indlela eyiyeyona elungileyo yokulungisa isiphoso kukubeka inyaniso. Kukutyhileka kothando lukaThixookwenzakubonakaleubulima nesono kwintliziyo ezinze kumna.ULw 498.5

    “Umntu othile,” wathi uYesu, “wayesihla evela eYerusalem, esiya eYeriko. Wagaxeleka ezihangeni, ezambhunyula iingubo, zamngxwelerha, zemka, zimshiya engathi uza kufa. Ke kaloku kwathi kwehla mbingeleli uthile ngaloo ndlela; akumbona, wacezela phaya. Kwangokunjalo ke nomLevi, akufika kuloo ndawo, weza wambona, wacezela phaya.” Luka 10:30-32. Yayingesiso isiganeko esiqwetywe nje engqondweni, kodwa sisehlo esenzekayo, esasisaziwa kanye njengoko sidandalazisiwe. Umbingeleli nomLevi ababecezele mgama babekwiqela elalibek’ indlebe kula mazwi kaYesu. ULw 499.1

    Kuhambo olusuka eYerusalem ukuya eYeriko, umhambi kwakufuneka adlule kwindawo eyintlango kwelakwaYuda. Indlela yayikhokelela ezantsi kwindawo engumfudlana onamatye, neyayithandwa zizihange, yaye iyindawo yemibono yobundlobongela. Kulapha apho umhambi wahlaselwa khona, wahlutywa konke okuxabisekileyo awayenako, wangxwelerhwa, washiywa engathi ungofileyo ecaleni kwendlela. Wathi elele njalo, kwadlula umbingeleli ngaloo ndlela; kodwa wanela ukukrwaqula nje ngakule ndoda ilimeleyo. Kwaphinda kwadlula umLevi. Ngokufuna ukwazi ukuba kwenzeke ntoni, wema wakhangela lo ulimeleyo. Wayiqonda kakuhle into amelwe kukuyenza; kodwa yayingenguwo umsebenzi owamkelekileyo. Walangazelela ukuba ange engezanga kuloo ndlela, ukuze angabi nakuyibona le ndoda ingxwelerhiweyo. Wazixelela ukuba umcimbi awufuni yena. ULw 499.2

    Omabini la madoda ayebambe izikhundla ezingcwele, aye esithi angabachazi beziBhalo. Ayeludidi olukhethwe ngendlela eyodwa ukuba abengabameli bakaThixo kubantu. Kwakufuneka “benokuthantamisa kwabangazi ntonabalahlekayo” (Heb. 5:2), ukuze bakhokelele abantu ekuluqondeni uthando olukhulu lukaThixo ngakubantu. Umsebenzi awayewubizelwe ukuba awenze wawumnye nalowo uYesu awawuchaza njengowaKhe, xa wathi, “UMoya weNkosi uphezu kwam, ethe ngenxa yoko yandithambisela ukushumayela iindaba ezilungileyo kumahlwempu. Indithume ukuba ndiphilise abantliziyo ityumkileyo, ndivakalise inkululeko kubathinjwa, nokubuyiselwa kokubona kwabaziimfama, ndindulule abaqobekileyo bekhululekile.” Luka 4:18.ULw 499.3

    Iingelosi zasezulwini zikhangele kuxinzelelo losapho lukaThixo emhlabeni, zaye zikulungele ukusebenzisana nabantu ekususeni ingcinezelo nentlungu. UThixo, ngokubonelela kwaKhe, wazisa umbingeleli nomLevi kule ndlela apho owayengxwelerhiwe wayelele khona, ukuze akubone ukudinga kwakhe inceba noncedo. Izulu lonke lalikhangele ukuba libone ukuba iintliziyo zaba bantu zingachukumiseka na luvelwano yintlungu yomntu. UMsindisi yayinguYe owafundisa amaHebhere intlango; ekwintsika yelifu nelomlilo wabafundisa isifundo esahluke kakhulu kwezo ngoku abantu babesifumana kubabingeleli nabafundisi babo. Imisindleko yenceba okanye uvelwano lomthetho yagqithiselwa nakwezona ziphantsi izilwanyana, ezingakwazi ukuxela ngamazwi imfuno nentlungu yazo. Imiyalelo yanikelwa kuMoses ukuze ithi kubantwana bakwaIsrayeli: “Xa uthe waqubisana nenkomo yotshaba lwakho, nokuba liesile lalo, lilahleka: wolibuyisela kulo. Xa uthe walibona iesile lokuthiyileyo lisadalele phantsi komthwalo walo, musa ukumyekela; likhulule umkhululise.” Eks. 23:4, 5. Noko kunjalo, emntwini ongxwelerhwe zizihange, wabeka imeko yomzalwana osentlungwini. Kubeke phi ukufaneleka kokuba iintliziyo zabo zibe zaba novelwano ngaye kunesilwanyana somthwalo! Isigidimi babesinikiwe ngoMoses, sokuba, uYehova uThixo wabo, “nguThixo omkhulu, oligorha, owoyikekayo,” “ogwebela inkedama nomhlolokazi, othanda owasemzini.” Kungoko wayalela esithi, “Mthandeni owasemzini.” “Uze umthande ngoko uzithanda ngako.” Dut. 10:17-19; Lev. 19:34.ULw 500.1

    UYobhi wathi, “Ubengalali phandle umphambukeli, iingcango zam bendizivulela endleleni.” Zathi iingelosi ezimbini zakufika eSodom zinokumila kwabantu, uLote wathoba wawa ngobuso emhlabeni, wathi, “Khanibone, zinkosi zam! Khaniphambukele endlwini yomkhonzi wenu, nilale.” Yobhi 31:32; Gen. 19:2. Umbingeleli nomLevi babeqhelene nazo zonke ezi zifundo, kodwa abazange bazenze. Beqeqeshwe kwisikolo sesizwe seenkani enkolweni, baba nentiyo, nokucinga kufuphi, nokuchwethela abanye ecaleni. Bathi bakuyikhangela indoda engxwelerhiweyo, abazi nokuba ingaba yeyohlangalwabo na okanye asiyiyo. Bacinga ukubamhlawumbi inokuba ingumSamariya, baza bahambela kude.ULw 500.2

    Kwisenzo sabo, ngokokuchaza kukaKristu, umqondisimthetho akazange abone nto ichaseneyo noko wayekufundisiwe njengokufunwa ngumthetho. Ngoku ke, kuye kwanikwa omnye umboniso:ULw 503.1

    UmSamariya othile, kuhambo lwakhe, wafika apho othuthunjelwayo wayekhona, wathi akumbona, wasikwa yimfesane ngaye. Akazange abuze nokuba lo angamaziyo wayengumYuda na okanye oweNtlanga. Ukuba wayengumYuda, umSamariya wayesazi kakuhle ukuba, ukuba iimeko zabo zazinokujikwa, la ndoda yayiza kumtshicela ebusweni idlule ngendelelo. Akazange kodwa alibazise ngenxa yaloo nto. Akazange azibone ngokungathi yena angasengozini yenkohlakalo ngenxa yokulibala kuloo ndawo. Kwaye kwanele kuye ukuba kwakukho umntu phambi kwakhe owayenesidingo ekwintlungu. Wakhulula isambatho sakhe awayeza kuyigquma ngaso le ndoda ingxwelerhiweyo. Ioli newayini ezazingumphako wendlela kuhambo lwakhe wazisebenzisa ukunyanga nokuhlaziya indoda elimeleyo. Wayifunqula wayikhwelisa kwiesile lakhe wathi chu nayo kancinane ukuze lo wasemzini angathunakali, ave iintlungu. Wamsa kwigumbi labahambi wamgcina khona ubusuku bonke, emjonge ngothando. Kwakusa, yakuba ngathi inobungcono le ndoda ifayo, umSamariya wakwazi ukuhamba indlela yakhe. Wathi kodwa phambi kokuba ahambe, wamnikela kumgcini wendawo, wahlawula ityala, washiya ubugcwabalala ukuze abe nento ayizuzayo; wathi, enganelanga koku akwenzileyo, wenza umsindleko waxa kukho enye intswelo, esithi kumnini ndawo, “Uze umonge; nento ongathi ubuye udleke yona, ndokuhlawulela mna ekubuyeni kwam.”ULw 503.2

    Lakuba liphelile ibali, uYesu wawamilisela amehlo aKhe kumqondisimthetho, ngokukhangela okwakungathi kuyawufunda umphefumlo wakhe, wathi, “Nguwuphi na kwabo bathathu ngoko, othi wena, waba ngummelwane walowo wagaxeleka ezihangeni” Luka 10:36. ULw 503.3

    Umqondisi-mthetho wayengafuni nangoku kwaukulibiza igama elithi mSamariya ngeyakhe imilebe, waphendula wathi, “Ngulowo wamenzela inceba.” UYesu wathi, “Hamba, uye kwenjenjalo nawe.” ULw 503.4

    Ngoko ke, umbuzo othi, “Ngubani na ongummelwane wam?” kukade waphendulelwa nexesha elizayo. UKristu ubonisile ukuba ummelwane wethu asikuphela omnye esinaye ebandleni esikulo. Akubhekisi kuhlanga, kwibala, okanye kudidi lokubaluleka. Ummelwane wethu nguye wonke umntu odinga uncedo lwethu. Ummelwane nguwo wonke umphefumlo ongxwelerhwe wagruzulwa lutshaba. Ummelwane ngumntu wonke osisidalwa sikaThixo. ULw 503.5

    Kwibali lomSamariya olungileyo, uYesu wanika umfanekiso waKhe nomsebenzi awayezele wona. Umntu wayekhohlisiwe, egruzulwe, ephangiwe nguSathana, washiywa ukuba atshabalale; kodwa uMsindisi waba nemfesane ngathi kwimeko yokungabi nakuzinceda kwethu. Washiya ubuqaqawuli, ukuza kusihlangula. Wasifumana silungele ukuba sife, wayithabathela kuYe imeko yethu. Waphilisa amanxeba ethu. Wasambathisa ngengubo yaKhe yobulungisa. Wasivulela igwiba lokuphephela, wasenzela umsindleko opheleleyo ngeyaKhe intlawulo. Wafa ukuze asihlangule. Esalatha kowaKhe umzekelo, uthi kubalandeli baKhe, “Ndiniwisela lo mthetho wokuba nithandane.” “Njengoko ndinithandileyo nina, ukuze nani nithandane.” Yohane 15:17; 13:34.ULw 504.1

    Umbuzo womqondisimthetho kuYesu wawusithi, “Ndenze ntoni na?” UYesu, ekubona ukumthanda uThixo nomntu njengokuhlanganiswa kobulungisa, wathi, “Yenza oko, wobudla ubomi.” UmSamariya wathobela imiyalelo yentliziyo enobubele nothando, waza ngoku, waba usibonakalalise njengomenzi womthetho. UKristu wamyalela umqondisimthetho, wathi, “Hamba, uye kwenjenjalo nawe.” Ukwenza, kungabi kukuthetha nje kodwa, kulindelekile ebantwaneni bakaThixo. “Lowo uthi uhleli kuye, ufanele ukuthi, njengoko wahambayo yena, enjenjalo ukuhamba naye.” 1 Yohane 2:6.ULw 504.2

    Isifundo asidingeki kancinane namhlanje kunokuba sasinjalo xa sasiphuma emlonyeni kaYesu. Umona nokwenza ngokomthetho okubandayo kusondele kakhulu ekuwucimeni umlilo wothando, wazigxotha izibabalo ezinokunika isimilo ivumba elimnandi. Abaninzi abazibiza ngegama laKhe balahlekiwe ngumbono wokuba amaKristu kufuneka emele uKristu. Ngaphandle kokuba kubekho ukuzincama okuphathekayo khon’ ukuze kulungelwe abanye, elusatsheni, ekhaya, ebumelwaneni, enkonzweni, naphina apho sinokuba khona, nokuba yintoni na ngoko esizibiza ngayo, asingawo amaKristu. ULw 504.3

    UKristu uqhagamshele umdla waKhe nalowo wobuntu, kwaye uthi ufuna ukuba sibe mnye naYe ekusindisweni koluntu. “Namkele ngesisa, utsho, yiphani ngesisa.” Mat. 10:8. Isono sibububi obubobona bukhulu kubo bonke ububi, kwaye kokwethu ukuba sibe nemfesane nokunceda umoni. Baninzi abaphazamayo nabaziva behlazekile, benobuyatha. Balambele amazwi enkuthazo. Bakhangela kwiimpazamo neemposiso zabo, bade baphantse ukuphelelwa lithemba. Le miphefumlo akufuneki singayikhathaleli. Ukuba singamaKristu, asiyi kudlula kwelinye icala lendlela, sizigcine sikude kangangoko kwabo kanye badinga uncedo lwethu. Xa sibabona abantu bakuxinzelelo, nokuba kungenxa yokungcungcuthekiswa okanye ngenxa yesono, asisayi kuze sithi, Le into ayifuni mna. ULw 504.4

    “Nina ningabomoya, mlulekeni onjalo ninomoya wobulali.” Gal. 6:1. Ngokholo nangomthandazo, tyhalela emva amandla otshaba. Thetha amazwi okholo nesibindi aya kufana nomathunga ophilisayokogruzulweyonongxwelerhiweyo. Baninzi kakhulu abaphelelwe ngamandla batyhafa kwidabi elikhulu lobomi, xa ilizwi elinye lenkuthazo enobubele belinokubomeleza ukuze boyise. Akufuneki size sidlule nakomnye umphefumlo onentlungu singakhange sizame ukuwunika intuthuzelo nathi esithuthuzelwa ngayo nguThixo.ULw 504.5

    Konke oku kukuzalisekisa umthetho-siseko womthetho,--umthetho siseko oboniswe ebalini lomSamariya olungileyo, waza wabonakalaliswa ebomini bukaYesu. Isimilo saKhe sityhila ukubaluleka kwenene komthetho, ubonise okuthethwa kukuthanda ummelwane njengoko sizithanda. Kanti ke, xa abantwana bakaThixo bebonakalalisa inceba, ububele, nothando ngakubantu bonke, bakwangqina ngesimilo nangemimiselo yezulu. Bathwele ubungqina kwinyaniso yokuba “Umyalelo kaYehova ugqibelele, ubuyisa umphefumlo.” Nd. 19:7. Nabani na osilelayo ukubonakalalisa olu thando waphula umthetho athi uwuhloniphile. Umoya esiwubonakalalisa kubazalwana bethu, uxela ukuba uyintoni umoya wethu ngakuThixo. Uthando lukaThixo entliziyweni, kuphela komthombo wothando ompompozela kummelwane wethu. “Ukuba umntu uthe, Ndiyamthanda uThixo, wamthiya umzalwana wakhe, ulixoki; kuba lowo ungamthandiyo umzalwana wakhe ambonileyo, angathini na ukumthanda uThixo angambonanga?” Zintanda, “ukuba sithi sithandane, uThixo uhleli kuthi, nothando lwakhe lugqibelele ngaphakathi kwethu.’ 1 Yohane 4:20, 12.ULw 505.1
