    63—“UKumkani Wakho Uza Kuwe”

    [Esi sahluko sisekwe kuMat. 21:1-11; Marko 11:1-10; Luka 19:29-44; Yohane 12:12-19.]

    “Gcoba kunene, ntombi inguZiyon; duma, ntombi inguYerusalem; yabona uKumkani wakho uza kuwe, elilungisa, enosindiso, enentobeko, ekhwele e-esileni, exhamxhweni, etholeni lemazi ye-esile.” Zek. 9:9. ULw 569.1

    Kwiminyaka engamakhulu amahlanu phambi kokuba kuzalwe uKristu, umprofeti uZekariya wakuxela kwangaphambili ukuza kukaKumkani kwaIsrayeli. Esi siprofeto ngoku siza kuzaliseka. Lowo wayekade ekwala ukuzukiswa kokumkani ngoku uza eYerusalem njengendlalifa yesithembiso etroneni kaDavide.ULw 569.2

    Yayingumhla wokuqala evekini ukungena kukaKristu ngokowoyisileyo eYerusalem. Izihlwele ezabuthelana ukuza kumbona eBhetani ngoku zahamba naYe, zilangazelela ukubona ukwamkelwa kwaKhe. Abafundi, ngolangazelelo oluzaliswe luvuyo, bazandlala iingubo zabo phezu kwesilwanyana, bayihlalisa iNkosi yabo phezu kwaso. Ukuza kufika kule ndawo, uYesu wayesoloko ehamba ngenyawo, yenza le nto abafundi baqala ukumangala ukuba akhethe ukukhwela. Ithemba labo laya likhanya ezintliziyweni zabo yingcamango yovuyo lokuba wayeza kungena kwisixeko esiyintloko, azivakalise ukuba unguKumkani, aze amisele igunya laKhe lobukumkani.     UKristu wayelandela isiko lakwaYuda lokungena kokumkani. Isilwanyana awayekhwele kuso sasiqatyelwa ziikumkani zakwaIsrayeli, kwaye isiprofeto sasixele kwangaphambili ukuba uyakwenjenjalo uMesiya ukuza ebukumkanini baKhe.     Njengokuba kuyiwa phambili, isihlwele saya sisanda ngabo bakuvayo ukufika kukaYesu baza bakhawuleza bazihlanganisa nomngcelele. Ababukeli babesongezeleleka njalo, bebuza, Ngubani lo? Sesa ntoni esi siphithiphithi? Bonke babevile ngoYesu kwaye belindele ukuba aye eYerusalem; kodwa babesazi ukuba, ukuza kuthi ga kweli xesha, wayengayikhuthazi konke imigudu yokumbeka etroneni, baza bakhwankqiswa kakhulu kukuva ukuba nguYe lo.     Akazanga uYesu ngaphambili, ekuphileni kwaKhe emhlabeni, awuvumele umboniso onjalo. Wasibona ngokucacileyo kwangaphambili isiphumo. Sasiza kumzisa emnqamlezweni.     Kulo mboniso uwodwa wokungena, uMsindisi wayenako ukuza ephahlwe ziingelosi zezulu, aziswe ngexilongo likaThixo; kodwa umboniso onjalo wawuya kuba uchasene nenjongo yoko wayekuzele, uchasene nomthetho owawulawule ubomi baKhe. Wahlala enyanisekile kwindawo ethobekileyo awayamkelayo. Umthwalo woluntu, kufuneka ewunyamezele bude ubomi baKhe bunikelwe ngenxa yobomi behlabathi. ULw 571.4

Kwaye kukho abathinjwa awabahlangula kwigunya likaSathana, ababedumisa uThixo ngokuhlangulwa kwabo. Iimfama awazibuyisela ukubona zazikhokela indlela. Abalwimi zabo zazingakwazi ukuthetha waza wazikhulula, babangabona batsho ngabona baphezulu oohosana. Iziqhwala awaziphilisayo zazixhuma-xhuma luvuyo, zezezona ziphambili ukuwisa amasebe esundu ziwangawangisa phambi koMsindisi. Abahlolokazi neenkedama zaziliphakamisa igama likaYesu ngenxa yemisebenzi yaKhe yemfesane kuzo. Abaneqhenqa awabahlambululayo bandlala iingubo zabo ezingadyobhekanga endleleni yaKhe, bemdumisa bemamkela njengoKumkani wozuko. Kwabo izwi laKhe labavusa ekulaleni kokufa, babekho phakathi kwesihlwele. ULazaro, omzimba wakhe wakubonayo ukonakala engcwabeni, nowayevuya ngoku esemandleni obuntu obuzukisiweyo, wayekhokela isilwanyana awayekhwele kuso uMsindisi. ULw 572.2

    AbaFarisi abaninzi bawubona lo mboniso, bathi, bevutha ngumona nenkohlakalo, bafuna ukuwujika umsinga wemvakalelo ekumntu wonke. Ngalo lonke igunya labo, bazama ukubathulisa abantu; kodwa ukubacela kwabo nezoyikiso zasuka zakwandisa ukuchulumanca. Boyika, hleze le nginginya, ngamandla obuninzi bayo, ingamenza ukumkani uYesu. Icebo labo lokugqibela, yaba kukunyanzelisa ukunqumla phakathi kwesihlwele baya kufikelela apho uMsindisi wayemi khona, bamgxagxamisa ngamazwi amngxolisayo namoyikisayo, besithi: “Mfundisi, bakhalimele abafundi bakho.” Batsho bemxelela ukuba, ingxolo yombhiyozo onjalo yayingekho emthethweni, kwaye yayingeke ivunyelwe ngamagunya. Impendulo kaYesu yabetha bathi cwaka, kuba wathi, “Ndithi kuni, kungathi kuthe cwaka aba, kunkqangaze amatye la.” Loo mboniso woloyiso wawumiselwe nguThixo. Wawuxelwe kwangaphambili ngumprofeti; kwaye umntu wayengenawo amandla okutyhalela ecaleni injongo kaThixo. Ukuba abantu babesilele ukwenza icebo laKhe, wayeya kunika izwi kumatye angaphiliyo, aze wona ankqangaze amkeleuNyanawaKhe ngeentlokomazeendumiso. Ukomelela kwayo, ukutyeba, nokubalasela ngobuhle bayenza yangomnye wemimangaliso yehlabathi.ULw 575.1

    Ngeli xesha ilanga eliya ekutshoneni lalihombisa likhazimlisa amazulu okwegolide, ubuqaqawuli bayo obuqaqambileyo balikhanyisa ilitye elimhlophe qhwa lodonga letempile, laza lamenyezela kwiintsika zayo ezigqunywe ngegolide. Umbono onjalo ukuba ubonwe ziingelosi! Umphathi—mkhosi wazo oyintanda ekwintlungu yeenyembezi! UYesu walilaengcwabeni likaLazaro,kodwa kwakungendlela yentlungu efana nekaThixo yovelwano nesikhalo somntu. Le yona intlungu yequbuliso yayifana nenowuti yesikhalo kwingoma emnandi yoloyiso.     Iinyembezi zikaYesu yayingezizo ezokulindela okwaKhe ukuphatheka kakubi. Kanye phambi kwaKhe kwakukho iGetsemane, apho kungekudala uloyiko lobumnyama obukhulu babuza kumgubungela. Isango lezimvu nalo lalibonakala, apho, kwiinkulungwane zeminyaka, izilwanyana zeminikelo yombingelelo zazikhokelwa ziphumele khona. Eli sango kungekudala laliza kuvulelwa Yena, uMbingelelo woqobo ekwakufuziselwa wona, neyayisalatha kumbingelelo waKhe ngenxa yezono zehlabathi yonke iminikelo.     UKristu waza kusindisa iYerusalem nabantwana bayo; kodwa ikratshi lobuFarisi, uhanahaniso, umona, nenkohlakalo zizinto ezamthintelayo ekuyiphumeleliseni injongo yaKhe. UYesu wazi ukuba imbuyekezo embi yayiza kusifikela isizwe esigwetyelwe intshabalalo. Wababona abemi abaxhwalekileyo bethuthumba phezu kwesixhobo sokuthuthumbisa, nangokubethelelwa emnqamlezweni, iindawo ezintle zichithwa, itempile iba linxuwa, kwiindonga zayo ezinkulu kungasali litye phezu kwelitye, lo gama isixeko silinywa okwamasimi.     IYerusalem yayingumntwana wokugcinwa nguYe, waza, njengomzali olilelaunyana wakhe ophuma ecaleni, uYesu walila ngenxa yomzi awuthandayo. Ndingakuncama njani? Ndingathini ukukubona uzinikele ekutshabalaleni? Ingaba kufuneka ndikuyeke ukuba uzalise indebe yobugwenxa bakho? Umphefumlo omnye unexabiso elikhulu kangangokuba, xa kuthelekiswa nawo, ihlabathi lonke lisuka libe yinto engacacanga; kodwa kwakuza kulahleka isizwe sonke. Xa ilanga elalikhawuleza ukuya kutshona, laliza kusithela lingabonakali ezulwini, imini yenceba yeYerusalem yayiza kuphela. Ngokwangoku umngcelele wawusondela kwincopho yentaba yeMinquma, kwakungekabi semva kakhulu ukuba iYerusalem ingaguquka. Ukuba nje iYerusalem ibingaguquka, lalisekho ixesha. Ngeli xesha imitha yokugqibela yelanga elitshonayo yayisabonakala etempileni, kuphondo nencopho, yayingenako na ingelosi elungileyo ukuyikhokelela na kuthando loMsindisi, ize iyijike intshabalalo yayo? Isixeko esihle esikhohlakeleyo, esibaxulubileyo abaprofeti, esimalileyo uNyana kaThixo, esaziqamangela ngokungafuni ukuzohlwaya ngamakhamandela obukhoboka,--imini yaso yayikufuphi ukuphela!ULw 578.1

    Kanti ke, kwakhona uMoya kaThixo uyathetha neYerusalem. Phambi kokuba imini iphele, obunye ubungqina buyanikwa ngoKristu. Ilizwi lobungqina liyaphakanyiswa, lisabela kubizo lwabaprofeti bexesha eladlulayo. Ukuba iYerusalem ingathi iluve ubizo, ukuba ingamamkela uMsindisi ongena kumasango ayo, inako ukusindiswa. ULw 578.2

    Iingxelo ziye zafika kubaphathi eYerusalem zokuba uYesu uyeza esixekweni enegqiza elikhulu labantu abamkhaphayo. Bona abalungiselelanga lwamkelo lukaNyana kaThixo.     Umthetheli wamagunya obumnyama uyamvuma, esithi, “Ndiyakwazi wena, lowo unguye; ungoyiNgcwele kaThixo.” Marko 1:24. ULw 579.6
