    71—ISicaka Sezicaka

    UKristu wayeza kuyizisa njani le miphefumlo kwindawo apho uSathana wayengasayi kuzuza uloyiso olupheleleyo kuyo? Wayengabonisa njani ukuba ukuvuma nje ukuba bangabafundi kwakungabenzi bafundi, okanye kwakungabaqinisekisi ngendawo ebukumkanini baKhe? Wayengababonisa njani ukuba yinkonzo enothando, nokuzithoba kwenene, okwenza ubukhulu benene? Wayeza kuluphemba njani uthando ezintliziyweni zabo, abenze bakwazi ukukuqonda oko wayelangazelela ukubaxelela? ULw 644.3

    Abafundi abazange benze ntshukumo yokulungiselelana. UYesu walinda okwethutyana ukuba abone ukuba babeza kwenza ntoni. Emva koko, Yena, Mfundisi ungcwele, waphakama etafileni.     Ngaloo ndlela uKristu wakubonisa ukubathanda kwaKhe abafundi baKhe. Umoyawabo wokuzithandawamzalisangentlungu uKristu, kodwa akenzangangxoxonabo ngokubhekiselelekwingxaki yabo. Endaweni yoko, wabanika umzekelo ababengasayi kuze bawulibale. Uthando lwaKhe kubo lwalungaphazanyiswa lula okanye luphele. Wayesazi ukuba uBawo uzinikele esandleni saKhe zonke izinto, nokuba weza evela kuThixo, wabuyela kuThixo. Wayebuqonda ngokupheleleyo ubuThixo baKhe; kodwa wasibekela bucala isithsaba sobukhosi nengubo yobukhosi baKhe, wathabatha imo yesicaka. Esinye sezenzo zobomi baKhe emhlabeni saba kukuzibhinqisa okwesicaka, enze umsebenzi wendawo yesicaka. ULw 645.1

    Ngaphambi kwePasika, uYuda Iskariyoti wahlangana okwesibini nababingeleli nababhali, wasigqiba isivumelwano sokumnikela uYesu ezandleni zabo. Kanti ke, emva koko, wabuya wahlangana nabafundi engathi ungomsulwa kokungalunganga, nothanda ukuba nenxaxheba kumsebenzi wokulungiselela isidlo. Abafundi babengazi nto ngenjongo kaYuda Iskariyoti.     Kumazwi athi, “Ukuba andithanga ndikuhlambe, akunasabelo nam,” uPetros walinikela ikratshi lakhe nentando yakhe. Iintliziyo zabo kwakufuneka zihlanjululwe. Ikratshi nokufuna okukokwabo kudala ukruthakruthwano nentiyo, kodwa konke oku uYesu wakuhlamba kwaphela ekuhlanjweni kweenyawo. Inguquko yemvakalelo yenziwa yabakho. Ebakhangele, uYesu wakwazi ukuthi, “Nihlambulukile.” Ngoku babukho ubunye bentliziyo, nothando omnye nomnye. Kubuhlungu kangakanani kuYe ububi bemo yomoya wethu, ukungabi nto kunye nekratshi! Kanti bonke ubuthakathaka bethu nokungcola kwethu kufuneka sikuzise kuYe. Nguye kuphela onako ukusihlamba sicoceke. Asiwulungelanga umthendeleko kunye naYe side sibe sihlanjululwe ngamandla aKhe.ULw 646.4

    UYesu wathi kubafundi, “Anihlambulukile nonke.” Wayezihlambile iinyawo zikaYuda, kodwa intliziyo yayinganikelwanga kuYe. Ayizange ihlanjululwe. UYuda akazange azinikele kuKristu. ULw 649.1

    Emva kokuba uKristu ezihlambile iinyawo zabafundi baKhe, akuba ezithabathile iingubo zaKhe wahlala phantsi, wathi kubo, “Niyayazi na into endiyenzileyo kuni? Nina ukundibiza nithi ndinguMfundisi, nithi ndiyiNkosi; niyalungisa ukutsho, kuba kunjalo. Ngoko ke, ukuba ndizihlambile iinyawo zenu mna, ndiyiNkosi, ndinguMfundisi, nani nifanele ukuhlambana iinyawo. Kuba ndininike umzekelo, ukuze nani nenze, njengoko ndenze ngako mna kuni. Inene, inene, ndithi kuni, Akukho mkhonzi umkhulu kunenkosi yaKhe, namthunywa umkhulu kunalowo umthumileyo.”ULw 649.2

    UKristu wayenga abafundi baKhe bangaqonda ukuba, nangona wayezihlambile iinyawo zabo, oku kwakungazange kususe nesuntswana kwisidima saKhe. “Nina ukundibiza nithi ndinguMfundisi, nithi ndiyiNkosi; niyalungisa ukutsho, kuba kunjalo.” Kuba enjalo ukuba phezulu ngokungenamda, wadlulisela ubuhle nokubaluleka kule nkonzo. Akakho owayephakame njengoKristu, ukanti wehla wenza owona msebenzi uphantsi. Ukuze abantu baKhe bangalahlekiswa kukuzithanda okuhlala kwintliziyo yemvelo, nokuthi kuqiniswe kukuzikhonza, uKristu ngokwaKhe wenza umzekelo wokuthobeka. Wayengayi kuwuyekela lo mcimbi mkhulu kangaka elulawulweni lomntu. Ngokwendlela awawuxabisa ngayo, kangangokuba Yena ngokwaKhe, Olingana noThixo, wenza ngokwesicaka kubafundi baKhe. Lo gama babesaxhwithana ngesona sikhundla siphezulu, Lowo onke amadolo kufuneka eguqe kuYe, Lowo iingelosi zozuko zikubalela ukuba kukuphakama ukumkhonza, waguqa phantsi wahlamba iinyawo zabo bambiza ngokuthi yiNkosi. Wahlamba iinyawo zomngcatshi waKhe.ULw 649.3

    Ebomini baKhe nakwizifundo zaKhe, uKristu unike isibonakaliso solungiselelo olungenamona olumvelo yalo ikuThixo. UThixo akangohlohl’ esakhe. Ngokudala ihlabathi, nangokuxhasa zonke izinto, uhleli elungiselela kwabanye. “Ilanga laKhe [u]lenza liphume phezu kwabakhohlakeleyo nabalungileyo; nemvula eyinisa phezu kwabalungisayo nabangalungisiyo.” Mat. 5:45. Lo mgangatho osisiseko uThixo wawunikela kuNyana waKhe. UYesu wanikwa ukuba abe yimbalasane yoluntu, ukuze ngomzekelo waKhe afundise ukuba kukuthini ukulungiselela. Ubomi baKhe bonke babungaphantsi komthetho wokukhonza. Wabakhonza bonke, walungiselela kubo bonke. Ngaloo ndlela wawuphila umthetho kaThixo, wathi ngomzekelo waKhe wayibonisa indlela emasiwuthobele ngayo. ULw 649.4

    Amaxesha ngamaxesha uYesu wazama ukuwumisela lo mthetho-siseko phakathi kwabafundi baKhe. Xa uYakobi noYohane babesenza isicelo sokuba phezulu, wayethe, “Osukuba enga angaba mkhulu phakathi kwenu, makabe ngumlungiseleli wenu.” Mat. 20:26. Ebukumkanini bam umthetho siseko wokukhethwa nobukhulu abunandawo. Ubukhulu obukuphela kwabo bubukhulu bokuthobeka. Ukwahluka ekukuphela kwako, kufumaneka ekuzinikeleni ekukhonzeni abanye. ULw 650.1

    Ngoku, akuba ezihlambile iinyawo zabafundi, wathi, “Ndininike umzekelo, ukuze nani nenze, njengoko ndenze ngako mna kuni.” Kula mazwi, uKristu wayengafakeli nje isenzo sobubele (okanye ukubuka iindwendwe). Kungaphezulu kokwakuthethwa kukuhlanjwa kweenyawo zeendwendwe ukususa uthuli lwendlela. Apha uKristu wayemisela inkolo yokukhonza. Ngesenzo seNkosi yethu, le nkonzo yokuthobeka yenziwa yayinkonzo engcwalisiweyo. Kwakuza kufuneka ukuba igcinwe ngabafundi, ukuze bahlale bezikhumbula ezingqondweni zabo izifundo zokuthobeka nokukhonza. ULw 650.2

    Yinkonzo le emiselwe nguKristu yokulungela inkonzo yomthendeleko. Lo gama ikratshi, ukwahlukana, nembambano ngobukhulu zisekho, intliziyo ayikwazi ukungena kubudlelane noKristu. Asikulungelanga ukwamkela umthendeleko womzimba waKhe negazi laKhe. Ngoko ke, kwakungenxa yoko ukuze uYesu amisele isikhumbuzo sokuthotyelwa phantsi kwaKhe ukuba senziwe. ULw 650.3

    Xa besiza kule nkonzo, abantwana bakaThixo kufuneka bakhumbule amazwi eNkosi yobomi nozuko: “Niyayazi na into endiyenzileyo kuni? Nina ukundibiza nithi ndinguMfundisi, nithi ndiyiNkosi; niyalungisa ukutsho, kuba kunjalo. Ngoko ke, ukuba ndizihlambile iinyawo zenu mna, ndiyiNkosi, ndinguMfundisi, nani nifanele ukuhlambana iinyawo. Kuba ndininike umzekelo, ukuze nani nenze, njengoko ndenze ngako mna kuni. Inene, inene, ndithi kuni, Akukho mkhonzi umkhulu kunenkosi yaKhe, namthunywa umkhulu kunalowo umthumileyo.     Kwabo bazuza umoya wale nkonzo, ayisokuze ibe yinkonzo nje eqhelekileyo. Isifundo sayo esihlala sikho siya kuthi, “Manisuke ngalo uthando nikhonzane.” Gal. 5:13.
